A whole new meaning to BYOB.
Apparently they don't charge corkage, but that's cost they don't have any corkscrews lol.
Discrete drinking of your own duty free on board is ok, but you need to neck it all before Dubai as opened bottles might be an issue at Dubai customs ;)

Why pay £50/100 extra can you specify the reason, example service as they are both direct flights, for a family of 4/5/6 people can make difference financially.

OK thanks for the reply. Some valid points but it all depends on individual preferences, some people might prefer to pay less and go through the hassle as it's only 6/7 hour journey each way. But personally I'd go for Emirates.
