been thinking about getting something like this for ages
anyone know if it would work on a bush soundbar?
Have you got that nightmare sound bar from Argos?
i love it, but i bought a reconditioned one and it came with no remote! I dont mind terribly, gets my lazy **** off the sofa before i put a film on
Only asking because I've got the Bush sound bar, and the remote is cheap and awful to use. I've never been able to find a code to use it with the remote app on my phone.

yes, I am having the same problem! Tried about 8 apps on my phone all with no joy! Have you tried an all in one remote and tried to 'learn' the settings? such a pain

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Was looking for a cheap but powerful enough drill for some minor brick/masonry work and came across this which looks

I have this drill and I am very happy with it. Even though the battery is only 0.8 mah still got enough power for diy uses.
If you want a versatile cordless drill for drilling, driving and light masonry work the Axminster model is by far the best deal I think. If you need a drill for serious masonry work then you don't want cordless.
designed for masonry http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb279sds-5kg-sds-drill-240v/55660

not cordless but will eat bricks for breakfast.

something else for less http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb276drl-850w-percussion-drill-230-240v/93908

you have to spend a lot for a good cordless masonry drill, for light use if you can use a cable a 240v is the best option.

I bought this 5 years ago when i moved into my new house and had to do a full refurb, http://www.screwfix.com/p/direct-power-bp11240-24v-1-3ah-ni-cd-cordless-combi-drill/20449

works well, about the min i would go for if you have to drill bricks, does a great job years down the link, shafts worn out and loose, can only do a few holes before swapping battery to the spare but i have made it pay for itself over and over!

its fitted a kitchen, bathroom, full rewire, fireplace, relaid flooring in several rooms and still keeps going.

only replaced with a bosch blue drilldriver and impact driver as i need something for work that doesn't lose charge if it sits for weeks on end.

I'm not saying I'm recommending it but if £35 is your budget and no more this is worth considering.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7114315.htm#pdpProductReviews

Its got 2 gears, hammer mode, 1/2" full size chuck, 2 batteries and reasonable torque at 22Nm.

If you could I would stretch to £55 and get the axminster axion model. That ticks all the right boxes but the Argos one is better than the amazon and maplin models. The maplin model is li-ion though but the torque is quite low at 15Nm and has no hammer mode.

the axminster one looks decent!
