Those are some remarkably bad deals compared to the previous two weeks, especially the guild wars one where they were previously offering all three main packs for the same price.

how does Direct2Drive work? Is it like Steam where you have to play games via the steam app, or do you just download the full game files?

You just download the files. They have their own download manager although sometimes you can use the serial numbers to download via steam.

You just download the installers and run them then play, no annoying client to worry about like Steam.
