I have been looking into something similar today, but including mt nemrut also. this does seem very cheap, however I don't do tours. Have never been on one, but have seen them in various countries and they seem a bit school trip to me. But if you were older or not that confident doing it yourself I think this is a great deal.

Good deal as far as packages go, but sounds horrible tbh. To see the true beauty of Turkey, you just need a hire car and a desire to get away from the tourist hotspots.
No thanks, I would rather have transfers included then drive in Turkey, never seen so many crazy drivers like I did in Istanbul and some other cities!
Hehe, driving in most parts of eastern Europe can be a little 'interesting', Antalya in particular can be mad - you cease to become a person once you are a car, you are just an obstacle :D

tbh though, you get used to it very quickly and driving through major cities in rush hour wasn't really what I had in mind. Once you get out of the cities the volume of traffic is small.

Depends what your idea of a holiday is of course, everyone is different, but personally I would never go to a country like Turkey without getting a car, there is just so much you would miss on a package tour. Driving around the winding coastal roads on the southern coast is an experience in itself, I could spend a whole holiday just doing that. No need for hotel pools when there are beautifully clear and calm bays around every corner...
