Where did you eat in Prague - off there myself in late Jan again

Any recommendations? :)

Oh yes.

Definitely go to Kampa Park (and have the duck fois gras starter) at the Lesser Town side of the Charles Bridge.

Definitely go to Bellview at the Old town side of the Charles Bridge.

If you can still afford to, go to Pravda on Pariska (where all the high fashion shops are off the Old Town Square).

Try and go for lunch on the roof garden at the Hotel U Prince (yes they have heaters).

There are loads of other places, but they would be my first stops.

I agree that non-vintage Moet is like fizzy dishwater, but I had a bottle of vintage Moet in a restaurant in Prague a few nights ago and it was one of the best champagnes I've had, and believe me I've tried 'em all, Krug, Dom, Cristal etc. etc.

Moet is liquid dogbreath, but DP is very nice (although that sounds very smutty).

Your thread has actually reminded me a champagne i had once, which i found to be the best tasting - but i can't remember it's name.
It was in a dark bottle (green?) and was hand painted - like white flowers, or something like that.
Got any idea?

Hi Saintscouple.... think this is what you're after

Incidentally - Direct Wine/Laithwaites/Sunday times/Nectar, what'ever they're called, they're BY FAR the best mail order wine company going. You may not love every wine they send you, but they're all very high quality.

I've ordered....think you can order more than one deal....I didn't at the risk of turning into a grape..halfway there already..LOL...but I put one case of all red, 1 case of all white and one case of mixed..all with the free mixed case into my basket and it was accepted....didn't go through checkout mind but if you can get all three cases plus 36 bottles free then it's great for those with parties on the horizon.
great find. thanks to OP. keeping fingers crossed that Quidco goes through also - works out at £2.73 a bottle incl. delivery after quidco discount!
Is there a possibility of £10.50 from Quidco with this deal ?

Good offer but it is an introductory offer to their wine club so remember to cancel once you've had the free bottles!
Tomorrow's password is obviously Shiraz - I've got to the payment options section - just wondering whether to order now? ;-) Wonder if they'd cancel the order as I'm not supposed to know tomorrow's password yet?
Or is that what the bonus online password os all about?

cheers to OP
Nod

edit - well I ordered anyway - seems to have gone through ok!
Thanks for the full link Gremlin, I've now fixed it. It looks like it was copy and pasted so had the ... in the link instead of the full link.
Can't find the site the link comes up as error. Is this a postal application instead of on-line?
