Not good for a first time buyer coming from Steam ...... Purchased but cant download. Just get a broken webpage. They have also sent me 16 !!!!! Mails so far with the serial etc.

Just mailed their support and the mail bounced !!

Looks like the download is not working with ie 9. Downloading now with Firefox. What a load of messing about .... They have now also sent me 26 mails with the reg details and they are still coming !!

As this is my first experience with D2D are they really this #hite or is this just a one off ?
#3
Their support also thinks IE9 is still in Beta !

Hmm strange, no issues downloading here at all, downloading like a champ in Google Chrome 11(Beta) at the moment without a hitch.

Not sure if using IE9 is a good idea as it's very new and all websites may not be designed to use it properly yet (then again I'm using a dev version of Google Chrome so who knows :p ) and also I think other browsers are leaps and bounds better but that my personal opinion ;)

However just checked my e-mail's and while not as bad as you I've had 3 saying what my serial number is

edit: Sorry just re-read and have seen you've tried Firefox and it's working, no never had an issue with D2D but like I said IE9 is very new so it may not work as desired out of the box

Oh and gamestraderjames cheers for the deal, brilliant price been looking for this lately!

Yeah have it now. Nice one to the OP. Just seems a bit odd that they have not sorted IE9 out. It's been in Beta for ages and they still think it is !!

No worries pal, it's a great game, at £2.92 it's an absolute steal!

Absolute bargain. Great game and also worth owning for DX11 benchmarking, graphics are superb.

Yeah, great game - the definition of 'No Brainer' at this price!!!
#11
Excellent price, unless you're an old git like me who like to reminiscent about old times of CR when it wasn't so full of gimmicks!

Will this work on an integrated ATI HD 4250?

Will this work on an integrated ATI HD 4250?

It will run but you will probably have to drop a lot of settings/resolution to get a playable framerate

How big is the install - I have less than 16GB left on my vertex2, every byte has become so precious :(

Do you have a secondary drive? I have the same Steam problem with my 120gb Vertex, but you could use junction points to move some of your games elsewhere.

Thanks, that's exactly my problem, I'll look into that later when I'm home, the secondary hdd is an old 5400rpm drive for all my junk and downloads, I'll maybe have to dump MW2 if I can't get my head round the link.

It's also ridiculously easy to create Steam backups and store them anywhere you like. I have all of mine backed up to DVD and on another hard drive.

To address the internet explorer problem: "Use Firefox with its built-in download manager. Internet Explorer cannot download files over 4 GB and has no download manager."

You can also use D2D's download manager if you want.

Also, this game will not activate on steam (i tried!) For more info: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1644762

Hi

is this still a GFWL version with achievments or does it not have them if not bought through retail / GFWL site?

also, i have this already on the xbox, i love the game and have completed it, is it worth buying again for pc. (is it better enough to warrant it - i have a sandybridge I5 with GTX560 graphics)

cheers

the graphics on PC are amazing, MUCH better than the already brilliant-looking console version. if your PC can handle it it's well worth getting

Worth buying again at this price just to run the two side-by-side. The difference will be astonishing.
Aside from the graphical improvements the 360 version will look like it's running in slow motion due to the 30fps frame rate :D

Great deal for a great game, for those worried about space, downloading via D2D's DownloadManager, allows you do download directly to a second harddrive. (handy for those of us on small primary SSD's) worked 100% for me, heat added, and as for emails, i recieved 4 in total, one from paypal, 3 from d2d, one confirming paypal transaction, one confirming purchase, and one with my registration details.

totally agree with you there. Already played this on the X360 but the little achievement **** in me thought why not buy this again (especially for only £2.92!).

I haven't got the best laptop in the world but the difference is astonishing (ATI HD 4550)! Although it has been a long while since I played the 360 version I never remember it looking anywhere near as good as this

Wow; just tried the demo and it blew me away....picked up Dirt & Dirt2.

Selling my xbox 360 copy and buying it on pc :)

Wow this website is a bit rubbish. Couldn't pay via Paypal in IE9 and Firefox 4, kept getting system error messages so had to pay via credit card in the end.
