  Decent game well worth that and the force feedback is excellent (Fanatec Clubsport GT2).
  
  HATE Gymkhana and the drift events & there is a lot of DLC for it now, if you think you may want that may be best to consider the GOTY.
  
  Still fairly hot price even for the basic game. Overall preferred DiRT2 however, even though number 3 has snow stages which are excellent.
  Slight aside but now they have split the franchise I am hoping DiRT4 will be back to concentrating on racing/rally events and leaving the "skillz" events that the Tony Hawks/SSX crowd may like to the showdown game.

  It's tempting at this price but I think I'll wait for a drop in the GOTY edition. Also, I'm still hoping for some form of GOTY for Steam.

  it is a GFWL game.
  
  you can add it as an external app into your steam library but it is not steamworks and does not fully integrate.
  
  (not sure if any digital versions of the game does, but my retail copy certainly doesnt)

  Good price but be aware that there is a lot of extra content that comes at a premium so it may be worth paying the extra and getting the complete edition
