Finally a decent price! Will definitely pick this up when I get home
Haven't seen this on sale before.
What's the DLC situation like these days? I know we never got the complete edition on PC in the UK.
so tempted to get this on my pc but already have it on ps3 and got dirt showdown on pc :(
Great price seen it cheaper on eBay well worth it, runs really good aswell
Brilliant game, great price. Cheers OP

Damn you OP, I couldn't resist this price. Thanks for posting.
You have to sit for half hour of EA "presentation" crap before you can race but once you get there its a decent enough game, worth the cash.
Yeah I'll probably pick this up, cheers. Shame we can't get Dirt 1 on there anymore, just for my OCD.
Sorry not EA, just reminds me of them!
Still not sure if im going to get it as wanted a rally game

Been waiting for a driving game to pop up in the sale. Heat added :D
Cool. I've been hoping this would go on sale for a while, so thanks for the heads up.
Really enjoyed Dirt 2, but reading the reviews of Dirt 3 put me off. Heat added for the cheapest deal though!

Looks like the game will be in your face a lot to purchase DLC's from what im reading

You do, lots of it all over the place. Like you said, it's totally in your face all of the time and its stuff that has been removed from the game rather than added content (for instance, you'll have a series of tracks in a country and some of the tracks will be DLC).

I hate been advertised to; I'm the sort of person who uses a PVR to fast forward through adverts, and if I happen to be watching a live broadcast on a commercial channel I'll skip channels for 2 minutes to avoid the adverts. This game is constantly telling you about the DLC. First turn it on? Watch a pop up advert for some DLC, start a race; watch a pop advert for some DLC. Finish a race; watch a pop up advert for some DLC, etc, etc.

The DLC isn't even the worst thing in the game. That has to be the presentation. Quite clearly a script written by a 50 year old suit who watches trains at weekends and makes tea in the developers office during the week trying to appeal to "da youth". You can't avoid it either, you're greeted by it the second you fire up the game "Totally rad man, lets get this party started dude" (in an annoying Australian beach surfer voice). The first time I thought to myself "why is my game talking to me like it's a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle from 1987?". But it gets worse and more grating as the game goes on (I didn't even manage to get that far into it). The annoying surfer voice guy also bangs on for ages between every race you do, going over every small thing in the game with a fine tooth comb, and you can't skip it, so you have to listen to him blathering on and on and on and (...)

Thankfully I got this dirt (pun unintended) cheap when all the ATI cards were all being bundled with Steam codes for the game, and feecebay was flooded with them. I think I paid like £3-4 for the pile of rubbish (when it was a brand new game). If I'd paid full price I would have been really peeved off! If I was a games reviewer, I'd give this trash 2/10! (and it only gets a 2 because of the actually gameplay, graphics and sound; no complaints there really at all, it's just the bits everywhere else that ruin the experience!).

Good deal but shame the DLC hasn't been reduced to a reasonable price - lots of content they cut out of the game
Bought it.... thanks

Seems to run better than most games on ultra on my machine too. The developers seem to have done a good job graphically.
Yeah all those Codemasters racers (dirt, grid, f1) use the same engine. It's aimed at 8 year old consoles so bound to be quick on today's tech, but it is impressive how good it looks for how little resources it uses.
