This is my first deal post, so here goes. I bought some of these off eBay for £10 each last year, and they're just fabulous! I realise the £7.50 delivery sucks, but if you're buying a bulk load to

Mine arrived this morning. Very impressed, really bright, clear output. Much better than cheaper ones like those from Ikea.

I got these ones instore last week in my local tesco & they're on sale too, not in stock online though.
Might be a cheaper alternative?

£5.50 is more expensive than £5.03 :p

It sure is but going with your description above I thought they were £14 each.
£5 is a good deal for these led lamps.

My original title said £5.03ea, plus £7.50 delivery.

I never edited it, and I realise you're not to know that either; must have been a mod, or something, but personally I think the title is now misleading.

Good price for a top brand.
ive been using the screwfix Lap 4.5w ones @5 for 19.99. will order some of these to see how they compare.
Could you let me know how you find the LAP Screwfix ones please? I have them both non-dimmable in one room and dimmable in another - both warm white. They are very bright though and particularly with the dimmable ones, they seem to hurt my eyes a bit! oO
They dont dim down as much as I like but yes they are very bright. Im happy with them in the kitchen and bedroom.

Thanks for the reply - in the kitchen (non-dimmable) I find them ok, but they don't dim down enough as you say and flicker sometimes in the lounge (the dimmable bulbs) and are so bright!
Why are LEDs so expensive when cheaper old style bulbs were so cheap?

Aurora is a good make but woul personally prefer in satin finish or the fitting with a 30min fireproff andacoustic fitting
thanks nivvy34, aurora is a good make as well
A good deal, cheapest I`ve seen for this type of light.
Can I ask, can anyone recommend LED LR16 bulbs to replace the 50w Halogens I have in the bathroom? Is it possible to do a straight swap? Thank you in advance.
