What no one likes is a whiny little misery guts jabbering PC nonsense whenever anybody dares to make a joke about anything.

It's only xenophobia if you're serious. Lighten up.

The £*.97p deals are end of line/discontinued stock but they had stock in both these stores for a change. I've listed the stock no, just call local stores for stock info, they can check regionally too.

You want to try the Currys in Burton-on-Trent.... biggest waste of space in the UK I am convinced.

Never have any of these discontinued lines, the sales staff are uninterested, know sod all about the product and spend more time having a fag out the front than looking after customers not to mention their stock is more limited than a Tesco Express.

They were trying to sell a demonstrator VAX all singing all dancing vaccum cleaner, the thing looked like it had done a rally.. it minged dusted up and scratched beyond belief... yet the discounted price was only £30 off the original £290!!!!

Sorry rant over, hate the dump.

I have been trying to spend about £2000 in there for 6 months, going to buy a TV and a PS3 I have been umming and ahhhing over the TV hence I am in no rush, but everytime I go in the excitement of handing over my cash and walking out with spangly goods is piddled on by the enthusiasm of the staff or should I say lack there of.

I saw them in Currys in Hamilton, but i was in to get the Verbatim drive on offer! I thought it was a great deal for 500gb storage and media player! If it had network capabilities I would have got it!!

Looking at Richer now much better customer services, but the Currys is just down the road and I always prefer being able to go into a local shop and throttle somebody if there are any probs in terms of warranty and aftersale service.

I wish! We'd soon sort out the unemployment figures with Currys customer service attitude.
Isn't the Leicester Richer shop "just down the road":whistling:
