I don,t find it a problem that People are reminding us of 'Back in Stock' deals

Seems ideal for kids, so vioting hot on this basis.
The quality is lower than most modern mobile phones however (check out you tube examples). I was looking for something cheap to take apart and rebuild a sutable mtb camera with, but this just doesnt have the quality or low light response needed.

thank you.

i was looking for cheap camera for my 7 year old. this is certainly cheap and also looks like quite alot of fun, with the voice and video facility.

i don't suppose the quality is that good but better for a 7 year old, rather than me stressing out about him breaking it!

anyone know how to vote something hot?!

There is this one or look on auction sites for 'mini DV camera' for the same thing even cheaper. Comes with mounts to fix to a helmet or bars and by all accounts is pretty good. The ones on the auction state a higher resolution 720x480 30 fps. Mate has one and just ordered one myself but it depends what quality you need I guess.

Thanks - I remember looking at the vd80 a while ago and reading poor reviews on it. Id be interested to hear your mates review and how it fairs as a mtb camera with variable light, vibrations and whether it gets the screen sideways wooshing wobble due to what I expect is inbuilt antiwobble. Has he uploaded anything to youtube?

You can see some of the wobble I am talking about here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz2BmSiMeOE

Not uploaded anything yet but there is plenty of footage out there. This has some night footage to look at but like I said depends on what quality/price you want. Mine cost me <£12.
