Are they selling talking book gramophone players and 8 track tape recorders as well ?
#4
wicked for kids bedroom dvd's.
Also Hannah Montana £60 and plain pink £50.
My kids dont care whether it lcd or not..

Why oh why. CRT is dead. I'm sure you could pick up hundreds of old CRTs easily these days. Paying £60 for a 14" pink CRT is madness imo.

Can of Vinyle spray paint and a second hand LCD tv would be a far better choice *imo*

This is so lame.

CRT is dead, using much more electricity than LCD meaning this will ultimately cost more than an LCD.

4:3 is dead, nothing is broadcast in square picture any more meaning that you will always have black bars or horribly deformed picture.

Analogue is dead, Will have to use a fiddly box for freeview using yet more electricity.

Its for KIDS!!!

Good find xx

Techy twerps need to pipe down and carry on comparing pixels and refresh times

Agree... Someone should come up with a tutorial on how to do that.

Could any of the 'experts' saying how dead CRT is please confirm for me how many years vinyl has been dead for? ;-)
#11

Oh carp it's out of stock now

CRT for £60 behave yourself, would it be cheap if it wasnt dressed as a fairy, NO

Bad deal in my opinion you could get a perfectly good 14" CRT with dvd from a car booty for £5 or less.

Sure you can. Pick me a couple up please?

Cold from me. It's cute, but it's a kid's TV that doesn't have freeview, and it doesn't seem to have SCART either. So it's a kid's TV that can't do Cbeebies or any of the paid-for kids channels.

He's not wrong. Try having a look around your local Gumtree. You'll find them for under a tenner, and maybe even for nothing at all.

Based on that, £60 for a kids TV is very cheap!! I think it's a decent product for who it is aimed at...

If you instead bought up to date kit for them like you're almost suggesting, you'd need to buy them a Blu-Ray player and a 1080p 32"+ TV! I don't fancy spending over £700 for them personally!! :-D

well if it is for kids then save their eyes and get them LCD! CRT TV's emit light not good for eyes ;) - not high end models - but this one is not even a flat CRT... old technology IMHO. Price is just for the design.
