Disney Infinity 2.0 starter pack.

Yes it's outdated but just picked one up on't Xbone for my little monsters. Online and in store availability. I bought in store in Horwich. they were in a large dump bin. Various formats Inc. Xbone, PS3 and Wii u. Didn't dig around for the other formats. The various figures are £4.99 and on 3 for 2. they have been for a while but thought it was worth mentioning. Only had a quick blast to check it all works. The sprogs should enjoy it, I. happy with the price I've paid and haven't seen it cheaper.

It was on clearance for a tenner, don't know how long for though. I've seen it on sale between 18 and 25 quid so I'm happy at a tenner.

is there enough game play in the starter sets without having to buy lots of other characters?
trying to decide between this and the lego dimensions offer... or do I get both?
Actually... if anyone's feeling helpful.... same question for both! thank yoooouuu :D

Having played infinity there is plenty to play with this starter pack, its got the avengers world (which the 3 characters cna play in) and you still have the toy box ( a sand box type game where you create your own worlds to play in).

Havent played dimensions yet but from what I can see from videos its great, and smyths are selling the starter pack for £30 atm

Only had a dabble so far, it's mostly for the kids. Dimensions will likely have more but stocks vanishing fast. I'd originally gone for Dimensions on Xbone but all were gone. The base game seems ok, the wife has played on toy box mode for a short time and enjoyed it. The characters don't add extra levels but there power disks that add extra story modes in toy box mode. it comes with 2 power disks. some character sets have something that unlocks other content too. Dunno all the details to be fair because haven't had the chance to play it properly yet.

Single characters dont unlock new worlds but their are other playsets for each version. 2.0 had the least in terms of playsets but there is the spiderman playset and the guardians playset available seperate.

I'm surprised this isn't hotter, great little stocking filler for kids or grown adults who like marvel games ha

They still have plenty of stock as I was in yesterday. The kids enjoyed it and that why I got it.
