Noticed online it's not all Playsets and the starter Packs on Xbox 360 and PS3 are £5 more for some reason. When I was Instore earlier the girl said to me ALL Playsets were reduced to £9.99, and the starter Packs they had left at £24.99 was for Wii U/Wii and 3DS. She said that they were on offer for PS3 and Xbox 360 but are currently out of stock... But online is showing the 360 and PS3 starter Packs are £5 more for some reason and a few of the other Playsets prices are not reduced yet for some reason!? Either that it's only certain packs that are reduced and the other starter Packs and Playsets are not reduced yet -_- That was not what I was told Instore tho... Maybe they have not updated online yet or Instore only?

Not posting all the links for individual characters, you can see the selection online by typing Disney infinity or by going into your local Smyths store.

Every time I try to order it keeps saying that they cannot deliver to my destination, despite me living on mainland UK.

Just a word of warning the ones at 14.99 and 19.99 are NOT playsets - they are Toybox sets - Smyths have labelled them up wrong.
AFAIK - the only Plasets ie a new game are Toy Story, Cars and Lone ranger.

Avoid the 3DS version like the plague

Great deal -, should get major heat.

Full list should be here:

£10 is great value for the playsets - heed mgk's advice though, some of the toybox sets are incorrectly labelled as Playsets. The only Playsets are Toy Story, Cars and Lone Ranger.

Villains pack for £15 looks especially good value if you don't have any of these already:

Picked up the Lone Ranger one yesterday. Toy Story/Cars have been £10 at Amazon, John Lewis etc. but when I checked last week The Lone Ranger was around £25-30 every where. Heat added

I take it the server is broken?
Checking out with PayPal causes my browser to close & paying with card just takes me back to the address details stage!

Shame as this would have made good presents for Christmas lol

Can anyone explain to me what disney infinity is and what the characters sold individually do, what's the best console to buy it for, I'm thinking of buying my kids a Wii u for Xmas, my son keeps saying he wants to play the Lone Ranger game, would you need to buy a starter pack then the Lone Ranger figures? Thanks for any advice.

Happy people like the deal I spotted yesterday while in Smyths :) Was in getting Wolfenstein The New Order as it was only £24.99 there and seen the reductions think they were made that day! I got a starter pack for Wii-U and the 3 playsets at £9.99, great prices and the individual characters are also ideal on the 3 for 2 deal! Perfect for a birthday gift or they can be put by for Christmas gifts/stocking fillers :D

Hi Oink-Ka click this link for all the info you need https://infinity.disney.com/en-gb/parents

The Lone Ranger Playset needs to be purchased separately it's only £9.99 now at Smyths, some of the reductions are only on for so long so if you are getting your kid a Wii-U I would get the Wii-U starter pack for infinity and the playsets. You can pick up the Wii u for good prices now, you could even wait a month or two as nearer Christmas the price may drop more on the Wii u console...

Good Deal - picked up the Toy Story and Lone Ranger Sets last weekend after it was posted here :-

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/disney-cars-playset-9-99-click-collect-store-2-99-delivery-smyths-toys-1951362

Redcris - Playsets contain a playset piece which unlocks a new cars game area which contains car type challenges.

The Toybox sets only contain characters than can be used in the Toybox (A kinda minecraft world where you can build things)

Dont forget your Power Discs as well :)

Yeah its a great price, the new Disney Infinity is out sometime in September. And at the moment it's all Marvel Heroes which is cool but kids love all the different classic and more recent Disney Characters, so this is ideal. The new Starter pack will be full price on release so it goes to show if you wait a while the price will drop right down, will be looking to get the Marvel Starter Pack for the kid and me the big kid when it drops in price lol

The Cars playset is now OOS :(

A tip for anyone else - the best playset to go for financially is the Lone Ranger one as it is the only one which is FULLY unlockable without having to buy additional characters.

oos online? I went down to my local Smyths and they had lots of the playsets. Had them all Cars/Toy Story and Lone Ranger also had a massive stock of individual figures too and quite a few starter Packs. Sometimes it can be worthwhile phoning the store to double check, the other day online said there was no Wolfenstein The New Order on PS4 at the store further away from me and I phoned and they had one in stock lol

Wonder if Disney will release more playsets and add to the character roster on Infinity 1.0 my kid has been saying will they bring a lion king playset lol Quite an awesome suggestion, loved that film when I seen it ages ago!

Even though Infinity 2.0 starter pack is mainly around marvel, there's still other characters coming with it. I've heard Maleficient, Merida (from Brave), as well as Stitch from Lilo and Stitch

Do the playset packs work with which ever starter pack you get as they don't seem to be console specific? I'm not very good when it comes to gaming things haha

Every figure, playset and power disc is compatible with every console, starter pack is only console specific item in Infinity

Hmmm, thinking whether to get the Wii U starter pack along with the infinity girls triple pack (which had vanelope, violet and rapunzel figurines) for £15 for my girls...

As I understand it the base and game disc for 1.0 contains the code required for the available playsets and I believe Disney stated there was no intention to add any more (via download etc).

Presumably this is so they can scalp you on another starter kit instead. :-\

Very annoying in that case that 1.0 playsets won't work on the 2.0 base though (although the characters will in toybox mode) - means you'll have to keep both around to play all the games.

What would be the best starter pack plus extra figurines combo to get for my girls? They like all the girly Disney characters like the ones I mentioned above...just a little confused how this kind of gaming setup works...

I think there is a girl power pack which would be ideal, and then you have the individual characters. Some of the characters can only be used in toy box/create mode and cannot be used in other game world's unless stated.

I shared a link if you look back at the rest of the comments, its for parents looking to buy the starter pack and goes through all the basics.

lol Power discs are just some extra content and powers, they are in sealed packs and totally random. You don't need them to enjoy Disney Infinity, it does add some things to the game but nothing major things like specific character powers and extra content for the toy box/create feature!

It's not easy for parents who don't know much about these things ;) If you are unsure or want to ask a few questions about Disney Infinity the staff are usually very helpful in store :)

So do each figurine have their own single player adventure that kids can play through...
