seems definatly worth reading the 3ds reviews
#2
Not voted either way as I think these are going to be the standard prices soon.

is it worth to wait for new version 2.0? Can we play 2.0 games on 1.0 base?
#4
Been waiting for this to be around 20 quid again. Already bought it tonight before I saw this deal but heat anyway.

As I understand it, the Infinity 1.0 figures will be compatible with the 2.0 base, but 2.0 figures will not work with a 1.0 base.

Got it for around £17 through flubit! Thanks :)

Fantastic - thanks :) missed out on the deal the other day, now happy!!

2.0 requires a 2.0 disc, its unclear what the upgrade path is for this. However any 1.0 characters including these in the starter pack will work on 2.0, playsets don't

If you are thinking the wii u version then it has playsets and a toy box mode where you can build what you like

3DS is mario party like

Hmmm. Tempted by the 3DS version at that price, though saying that it'll only get put away for Christmas so might wait to see how low it goes.

Not as child friendly as Skylanders. The game is far more childish, in the sense it has a patronising voice over the top. But this isn't reflected in the game interface or difficulty. Skylanders is far more straightforward, there's never any doubt what your child has to do. I'm not saying it is unsuitable, but will they enjoy it as much? Probably not.

Thankyou I have to say my daughter loves skylanders, I only brought it as they didn't release the Disney infinity for the xbox one at the time, I didn't want to pay the heavy price for the 360 version but thought at this price may be worth ago, but after looking at videos for hours it didn't seem as child friendly to me, will wait for trap team then instead I think. Thankyou for the advise

Hope they honour it for you, I got the same price from them the last time Amazon had these at £20 but a week later I got an email from Flubit saying they didn't have enough stock and were cancelling the order.

If it helps, sainsburys are currently having a big games clearout and the infinity starter pack for the wii and also the PS3 are included, for £17.99. I managed to pick up a wii one in my local a couple of days ago and cancelled my amazon order. There were none on the shelf when I went in, but I asked at customer services and they found one in the store room for me. Could be worth calling your local store if you have one, to ask if they stock it? Here's a link to the thread I read about it on - good luck xxx
