I think it's a great game but a bit of an acquired taste id imagine. Easy to pick up and play and Kinect responsiveness and accuracy is very good. Hard to beat for a tenner!

Just need a bargain Kinect 2, CEX have over 200 available now, but still kicking them out used at £65. They were £55 before Xmas, and even less before that...

I was lucky enough to pick up the Kinect 2 for £20, when CEX first started selling them.

Great price for a good game. A bit slow to start but once you get to know it, it's great fun.

Yeah, great game. It's basically Rockband for conducting on Kinect.

Instead of hitting a plastic instrument, you swipe or punch things on screen. As long as you have Kinect already, this is a good buy.

The menu and story modes are a bit naff, but kids will like all that stuff. But the gameplay is fun and makes a good party game.

Yeah, could understand it as they struggled for stock, but they seem to have hundreds online and in store so was hoping they might get back down to £60 or even £55…

The cover looks like a box of breakfast cereal. I'm out.

It was already in development when MS decided to drop Kinect.
By all accounts it's a great game and I'm pretty sure that Harmonix would have been guaranteed a hit had they have had a bigger install base.

CEX put the price up when the official price for the stand-alone Kinect was revealed (£129) oO

True, but conversely you'd like to think that those lumbered with/"lucky" enough to have Kinect might've wanted one of the last titles made for it! Oh well. I bet Harmonix weren't happy when they first found out.

You're most likely right. It did creep up rather than just jump though.

Why do people think MS have 'dropped' Kinect? THey havent' done anything of the sort, they merely don't byndle it anymore to make the base cost of the XB1 cheaper...
The reason the price for the Kinect has risen at CEX is because at first they thought everyone was dumping them, then they realised there is actually a market for them, so the price rose... Supply/demand...
You can still buy it bundled, or buy it seperately...

Oh, and, HOT for the price! Great game, at this price it's a steal!

Great game, got it for £12 when Game offered it on Boxing Day. Try the demo though, it's a good reflection of the game as a whole.

It seems to be a great a game to me after playing the demo reading the article and comments. The price is also looking good and its fits under my budget. The story mode was fantastic.

How else would you describe unbundling what was, at launch, an essential part of the Xbox One philosophy?

Had sales been better, they would never have "dropped" it.

I mean dropped mandatory support for it, but essentially they've dropped it anyway. Try listing the number of Kinect-heavy games coming out soon for the good ole 'Bone.

I think it's directly connected to the sale of Xbox One without Kinect, previously everyone had one and now lots of people don't. At £10/20 people bought one on the off chance that they'd like it and the price went up when CEX saw they were selling.

Fast forward and lots of Xboxes have been sold without Kinect and people are still paying the increased prices. I'd expect the supply to go down, not up as time goes by and more and more systems are sold without Kinect bundled.

I'd get in sooner rather than later, personally.
