Great, thanks, just ordered one for my 10 year old, she will love it.

does anyone know if you can use these mics on the Nintendo Wii? Would be a cheap way of getting two mics to play on Guitar Hero and the like!
#3
great price just for the mics alone, They will be wired but the wires are long, also my daughters would love this, then can buy all the other singstar disks.

done a quick seach and it seams they will work as it a USB connection, although it was a quick search. It will 100% work on PS3 with the PS3 version of singstar:thumbsup:

If they are a USB connection, do you know if they will work with the Xbox 360?

would be great if mics work on the wii!

I'm contemplating buying these for a tenner, because I've got a PS2 anyway. But if it's rubbish I might ebay them. Should fetch the same price.

Well I have a USB mic for the wii and that does NOT work on ps3, so I doubt if works the other way round either.

Great deal......

Thanks

so what was the conclusion - the mics will play on the wii but not the game?

do they do similar games for the wii? Thanks
#15
This arrived today.

The Wii picks up the mics but Guitar Hero wont recognise them. I'm lead to believe that it's just guitar hero that wont work with them, but other games such as rock band or sing it will. Of course I don't have those games lol. It's a good job I've also got a PS2 lol. If I can't find a use for them I'll probably sell them on again.

These definitely DO NOT work on the Wii I'm afraid. Most Wii Games expect to see a Logitech microphone - I personally got a XBOX Guitar Hero World Tour mic from here as I knew it was the same mic as the one supplied with the disney sing it for Wii ...

thanks just ordered as one of my mics has broke and been looking for a good deal to replace it.

There is a wii game that looks the same as this one don't know as i dont have it, been waiting for it to come down in price again, GAME site has Disney Sing It! High School Musical 3: Senior Year with Mic down to £29.99 (down by a tenner) At one point they had them down to £19.99 but didnt have any in stock when i tried to buy it.

Will post it if it comes back in stock

thanks - would be interested in that - so do mics come with all the wii singing games or do you have to buy them seperately?
#22
currently £26 on amazon

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wii+high+school

all very confusing - can someone please tell me what the difference is between these - are some with microphones and some without and if I buy one with a mic can I then buy for e,g, HSM1 without the mic and use the same one?

thanks
