  my kid really wants to go but with transport it still comes in at over £1,500 for 3 nights !!! thats a bloody rip off !!!

  We have never booked transport via the Disney site (as you say, it's makes it very expensive...)
  You can check for cheap flights to Paris or we normally drive it via the EuroTunnel (appreciate that's not practical from much of the uk....) but driving from Calais, it's about 3 hours and motorway all the way...
