The Disney 14 Day Ultimate for the Price of 7 is a great ticket offer for people who are planning to visit Walt Disney World either this year or in 2012. However, this offer is only valid for bookings made up until 30th June 2011 for arrivals throughout 2011 and 2012 so you will need to book now!!

sounds alot but we used ours every day last year ... waterparks in the morning then MK , AK , HS or epcot later that day and returned to each park every fifth day as there is so much to see and do . we just took a leisurely stroll around these huuuuuge parks and soaked in all the glorious sun and atmosphere .so we realy got value for money and there where still things we missed or couldnt do . next time i hope :)

Why would anyone just visit Disney for 14 days when Universal etc etc is a better deal, and youd get absolutely fed up with ONLY Disney ?

I suppose this deal is really for people who want complete freedom on their trip. A usual trip to Orlando would be for a fortnight, but buying a ticket for 7 consecutive days can make planning to see all the attractions a little hectic...especially if you are going with the whole family.

Remember you're only paying for 7 days and may start in Disney World, go to other attractions throughout the rest of the holiday and still have the opportunity to revisit at the end. It's better logistically! :)

They're not 7 consecutive days are they? Just seven days in total. Think carefully about getting this as they are not that good value if you have no intention of using everything on it (round of golf for example). We didn't want to park hop (are you likely to) so a general 8 day one park per day entry suited us fine, lots cheaper to get from a Walmart or even on the gate.

Ultimate tickets are 7/14/21 consecutive days.
If you don't use them, you lose them unless you pay an extortionate premium to change them to non-expiring tickets.

I paid for 14 Days in Disney in 2008 - only did 5 days in total, was far too busy with Busch Gardens, Universal parks, Gatorland and all the other great stuff that Orlando has to offer.
I'd recommend buying Disney's MYW tickets, you can buy any number of days and only buy what you think you will use. A much better value option, it's what I've done for this year.

To make the most of disney go for 3 weeks 2 weeks is just not enough.

The difference between 7/14 days is usually only about a tenner anyway and this deal is quite common. They are NOT consecutive days, you have 14 days in which to use the 7 days I believe.

They do give the ultimate in flexiblity but at a cost. I've always found we've never park-hopped and so this year I've bought Base tickets (no park-hopping, water parks or DisneyQuest) at 10-days for the price of 8, which worked out at about £170 each. A saving of over £200 on 4 of us.

We run a monthy thread comparing popular ticket sellers (with good feedback) here, cheapest we have just now is £218pp but check card fees & cashback to see final price.

Agree with this, just choosing the options you really want means that you can save quite a bit.

Bought a 10 day MYW Base ticket from orlandoattractions.com for £161 - any 10 days in 14 at any of the 4 main parks. The savings on a 14 day ultimate helped towards the cost of Univeral/Sea World/Busch Gardens tickets.

First time I went we bought the Ultimate tickets, next time I went we didn't. A MYW ticket is a great option, once you've got it for more than a few days, it costs just a few dollars to add further days.

You need to sit down and plan your holiday, consider you won't do more than one park in a day (making hopping pointless) and also the MYW doesn't need to be used on consecutive days.

Also you can see the whole of Orlanda parks, Everglades and NASA in a fortnight, including two days to do the DIsney marathon. Just make sure you go out of school holidays. I've been in late September and January and the parks are empty
