These are great for the beach, we use them all the time - well, when it's dry :-D

£1 @ most pound shops. (though I don't know if they have the same weight of charcoal)

I bought a circular metal BBQ at Somerfield last week for a fiver. I'd popped in for a disposable but they were £2.49, but £5 seemed a bargain in comparison.

I've got the 3 pack from the co-op a couple of times for about a fiver but this seems a better deal.

These things just make your food taste of petrol, disgusting!
#13
get away from this,
i got 4 of this from lidl last year, it took ages to get ready but it only lasted for 5 min.
#14
If they make your food taste of petrol, you haven't waited 20 minutes for all the lighting fluid to burn off!
#15
These are pretty weak, but you can do a small BBQ on them
If you want to cheat, just cook all the meat on a low oven for 30 minutes first, then finish it off on the BBQ.

Works for me.

these are fine, it is all relative.
if you want a proper bbq then spend the money and stop complaining you whingebags.
HOT, what do you expect for a little over a pound, for one that works well!

btw the poundland ones really arent good, despite only being a pound.

I saw these at Lidl yesterday. They're really shallow. . about 1.5 inches high. My first thoughts were - you're not going to get much out of that...!

Probably a sausage or 2 - as the picture on the box indicates .. hehe.

very hot from me. We use these regulary. If we have family round we fire up two. 1 cooks at least 4-6 items and the bbq lasts for at least an hour. Alot of coal in these lidls ones.

Why not just cook decent food in the oven and then carry it out like the Italians do?
