Disposable Party Instant BBQ - 61p! - Instore only

My missus ain't that bright at times bless her, we bought some of these last year and she stuck em in the freezer.

I happened to purchase a total of 5 of these items, as specified, today. I paid £3.05 in total. At the time of purchase, I had no conscious awareness that this bargain had been loyally listed on this splendid forum. However, I had made plans to submit it myself upon returning home. I might also add in a moment of recollection, that whilst inside Tescos, people were observing the contents of my trolley and displaying non-verbal body language that might imply their perceptions of me as a raging loon.

Its about 18inches by 12 roughly - bigger than the Lidl ones mentioned, but they are still good value for 99p!

Bargain! Going to check my local tesco's now. Was plannin a barbi today aswel!!!

Hi great deal got these from Tesco Extra Peterborough but did leave a few for others, I did also get the Barbeque Cleaner Spray they do as also showing discontinued on shelf edge was about £3 but scanned at 30p great for our gas barbeque in case anyone interested.

Not on at my Tesco, £4.85 each

Scanned it on the price checker thingy too to check.

I allow myself one use of this term per year, so here goes....lol

picked up two of these today but SEL said 1.69, got to till and charged 4.88 each. Went to CS and pointed out mistake but SEL was no longer on the shelf so the CS just refunded me 9.76 and let me keep bbq`s! A good old fashioned R&R !

Was in East Didsbury, Manchester store today. They didn't have any disposable BBQs but did have discontinued 5kg bags of lumpwood charcoal, 61p each, so grabbed the last 2. Guess it depends on what each store has that they want to clear out ...

And i was just about to nip up and have a look, saved me a journey!

Wilkinson stores price is £1.78 or 2 for £3 but the 99p at Lidl seems best for people who still want them but not at £4.88 price from Tesco now.

Can anyone tell me which coventry store this is because the price i have seen is £4.85. This is the tesco at junction 2 of the m6.

I got them from Arena park (near J3)

Just wanted to add to this,these BBQ'S will have 2 different bar codes,as old stock have an old bar code,so they get discounted, sometimes when they change the packaging,the price goes down.the 1 listed on here is silver in colour,the old stock is more Black in colour,I scanned the old stock today,and it's coming up as "please see member of staff" this happens when the system takes it off the stock,if you get my drift,as not suppose to be on sale anymore.

If anyone has the 61p BBQ if they list the last 4 digits of the bar code it will help you look for the old stock.
I bet it's totally different from the new stock........:thumbsup:

By the way this happens a lot on clearance items,if they sit around too long,they eventaully end up at 0.01p :w00t: then please see member of staff ;-) when scanned.

Have look @ the packaging on Sun creams / blocks etc at the moment,they added a picture of Australia to new stock,and the old stock without logo is less then half the price for same stuff inside,if you can find it.:thumbsup:
