Warning, my former neighbour has one and it is **** huge. So make sure you have the space for it in the garden.

It looks alright, but £160?

Don't get me wrong, you're saving a lot off the original price, but still...

Can it be dismantled?

That thing looks hellishly unstable. I know from my hammock that they're hard to get in and out of without occasionally falling onto the ground. With this arrangement, instead of falling onto soft grass or earth you look like you'll end up falling onto one of those wooden stabilising legs.

If it perished after one winter , I would say it was n´t made of hardwood.Although it is called a teak hammock,if you read the description it says it is made of larchwood, which is a durable wood used for boat making.,so should last untreated for many winters.

B&Q, M&S and Homebase all recalled hardwood hammocks a couple of years ago. Had one that I left out in the garden that just fell apart. Managed to get refund on frame and let me keep the rest......... which was nice.

I've got one and it can be easily dismantled. I'd say it'll take about 30 - 40 minutes to do so, but more than doable. Would save dragging the base into the garage if you're storing it! And like hammerspain mentioned, it's actually made out of larchwood which is highly durable! :)
