Anyone have both to give their opinion of how they compare?

Still a very good price though.

I loved our Xii Mini speaker, but the cable broke after pretty minimal use.
Shame because the sound was fantasic!.

Just plumed for a couple of the X II Mini's as well...
Can't really go wrong for £3 for these though, anyone know if these are piggybackable as well?
#17
I've just bought a blue one from Asda Home Store in Wellington.

£6 though, not £3.

Says reduced from £9 on shelf.

They had 1 pink/red one and lots of blue ones.

How does that amount of sound come out of something so small?

My X-mini from Play.com has also just turned up, I haven't got the two next to each other to compare directly, but can make the following observations.

The X-mini feels considerably heavier and better built, with nicer controls and a volume dial as opposed to the three position switch.

X-mini sounds a lot bassier, and not as tinny as the cheap Asda one.

You get a little carry bag with the X-mini, but no additional connector as you do with the Asda one.

I would say the Asda one is a cheap rip off in comparison, but still good value.

I will try them linked together when I get home.

I have now compared this to the X-mini and they are totally different.

The Asda one is about half the size, and doesn't sound anywhere near as good.

But still a bargain if you can get one for £3.

I wouldn't spend another £6 on one, but I'd happily buy another X-mini at £12.99

I have tested the quality is better and richer and has a really good bass reflex
