I bought this for around £45 a while back from savastore to play my internet downloads.

Plays most files and also .srt subtiltes, not .idx ones.

please note: this player doesn't play back packed bitstream avi files, which end one jerky onscreen.

This is fixed by running the files through the free mpegmodifier program http://www.moitah.net/ first before burning to disk.

All in all its worth the money at £28.

1) open file
2) select unpack
3) uncheck Auto option
4) click the file that looks like DivX999b000p and change the p to an n
5) save the new file.

Bloaty must be a bit more advanced in mpeg modifier use than me.
I don't do steps 3,4 listed but never had a problem.
I just:

click browse to open my file.
The program runs through the file(around 15 seconds for a 1/2 hour show)
If it says packed bitstream I tick the unpack box then save to another file name. After about a minute the new file is saved and you can delete the original.

I'm guessing Bloaty's steps make the files more compatible with more players.

I've uploaded a version of the program for batch files for when you have multiple files in a folder. Saves time, just locate the directory and it goes through all the files on its own also saving to another file.

Thanks options. Is there any chance you can upload it to another provider such as megashare, as rapidshare never works for me.:)
