Never used this site before, but seems like worth taking a risk at this price. Especially if you use the google checkout 'spend £30 get £10 off, so stock up on DVDRs etc. and take it to £30.

Use the Google checkout, 2 day delivery and you take it to £30.21, use the google checkout and take it to £20.21. I like.

MOD EDIT - the google checkout does not apply (just tested it) and the cheapest it shows up at is £26.68 using the super saver delivery. However, if you add smaller items to your basket to bring the cost ex-VAT over £30, the £10 google checkout discount might apply - make sure you see the green promotional text in your google checkout telling you of the £10 off.

One of these would be pretty handy!

So the idea of this is that you can connect your hardrive and play directly through it?
#3
Lol dont know if you are joking but no, just put in na CD'r or DVD'r with Avi/Divx files on and they play, no PC needed(cept to burn discs)
#4
I didnt realise you can connect your pc to dvd player? If so would be impressed. Although my PC is downstairs, and want to watch the films in the bedroom, as I like falling asleep to DVDs for some reason.

£26.68 delivered (super saver) + 1% quidco

They seem to have a load back in stock again.

You can get this for £20.21 using google checkout, making sure you choose the 2 day delivery to take the item to over £30

Using 2 day delivery mine came in at £30.21 - £10 for using Google checkout = £20.21

:)

You can't get this for £20.21 via google checkout. Only the VAT of the shipping costs count towards qualifying for the £10 discount. If you went via google checkout, you will have to pay £30.21 for 2 day delivery.

If buying this, you will need to add something cheap to bring basket nearer £30 (including shipping VAT) or else select super saver delivery and pay £26.68.

Try the google thing and you'll see what I mean.

Please ammend the title to reflect the price

Hi all,

I notice there is a Toshiba SD-270E DVD player that plays Divx for £29.25 before google discount & postoge, is this player any good?

Great post btw!

Just checked this out, and the cheapest you can get the player on it's own is £26.68.

When it shows at £30.21, it doesn't show the promotional green text telling you that google checkout will take off a tenner.

I'm going to update the OP and make a note there.

Its definetely £20.21 mate. Make sure your logged out of google checkout, cause can't you only use the £10 off thing once? I created a new account, just like every1 else to take advantage of the £10 off.

You need to select the 2 day delivery option to take it to £30.21 and then use the Google checkout to take it to £20.21

just a word of warning - I have a great philips divx dvd player. Works an absolute treat, has a usb port, but - I have a 60 gb external HD which doesn't work in the usb port. I believe it doesnt accept FAT32 or something, (not sure what this is) - so flash drives only. I have a 2gb pen drive which works perfectly on it so can watch a film on it no probs.
just a little heads up for y'all

Nobody creates new account sto take advantage of the google checkout offer - this is unlimited use, as far as I know. I have never used it and the £10 definitely did not apply when the 2 day delivery option was selected.
