Manufacturer's Description:

The Guitar Hero universe is about to expand, not just with a new band or instrument - but with a whole new style of music. Never mind air guitar, now you can pretend to be a superstar DJ from the comfort of your own home thanks to the new turntable controller bundled with the game.

The basics of gameplay are still similar to Guitar Hero
The Euphoria button works just like Star Power from Guitar Hero
The turntable controller is the only way to play DJ Hero
Play in co-op mode with a friend and you can co-operate on any track

The gameplay is still similar to Guitar Hero, as notes travel around the on-screen turntable and you have to hold down the three "stream" buttons on the controller at the right time to keep the mix going. For advanced players there's also an effects dial, crossfader and the score boosting "Euphoria" button.

Created with input from top professional DJs and with the biggest range of bands and music styles of any game to date this has something to please every music fan. Whether you know how to DJ in real life or not this is now the ultimate party game.

Key Features:

* Music Hero - From the makers of Guitar Hero comes the definitive turntable game, with its own custom controller and input from the best DJs in the business.

* All-inclusive - Massive range of music styles, from grunge to hip hop. Including bands ranging from 50 Cent to Beck, Blondie, Motorhead and more.

* Mix masters - More than 80 individual songs created from over 100 different master recordings and mixed by the likes of DJ Shadow, DJ AM and Daft Punk.

* DJ vs. Guitar - Massive range of game modes including competitive and co-operative multiplayer and even ten special songs compatible with a guitar controller.

* Emotion controller - Unique turntable controller lets you flip between and scratch records, add samples and effects and use a crossfader.

Includes

* DJ Hero game
* Turntable Controller

This is not selling well at all, expecting further price drops...I am sure it will be sub £50 in the New Year, holding off for now...good deal at present, heat added.

Ditto. Agree this is definitely the best price right now, and heat added as a result, but I too am hoping for the sub-£50 barrier to be broken in the next month or two.

Grand spot though for those tasked with acquiring it as a Christmas gift! :)
#11
Will look to pick this up when its down to about £40.

Absolutely, not knocking the deal..and have added heat, great price for xmas presents, but besides the excellent reviews its reported this is not selling well, for those that can wait I am sure a sub-£50 barrier will be broken in the new year
#13
Can't understand why many people would buy this.. not even at £40 let alone the rrp.

I haven't heard of it being cheaper anywhere else though so hot it is.

......won't be too long - game has sold very badly, and they will be practically giving it away soon........
#15
Great game this, and finally at a decent price..... this should've been the RRP. I too expect further price drops after Christmas, but this is a good deal for now. Heat added.
#16
This WILL get cheaper before Christmas.

#23
I managed to get this via some deals/rewards and only paid £42 real money for it as I would never pay RRP, now I have it I would happily pay £70, its the tunes that make the game, I cannot wait til Xmas parties start happeing chez Jough.

I'd go instore if you want it either scan it on the scanners or get a member of staff as it's nationwide it's on the christmas gift isles :)
#27
Going to wait for it to get a little cheaper but still voted hot as it is a hot deal compared to other retailers
#28
Definitely hot, as it's not cheaper anywhere else.

However, even though I'd quite like to play this, I'd not pay more than about £20 for it.
#29
That'll teach me for diving in early!

Great game and this is a fairer price than the original RRP.

If it gets to the £50 mark then you're getting a good deal. The peripheral is good quality and the game is a lot of fun. Just hoping they get some more co-op guitar tracks to download, cos those are fun to play with mates.

Yeah, was still marked up at £85 in Tesco Purley last night, although it's entirely the price change was as of today.
#31
Its a good idea but I think they were riding high on the crest of the Guitar Hero success and sort of lost the plot on this one a bit. Im interested to see it in action but I too will wait for sub £30 next year (fingers crossed).
#32

Was just about to ask that myself. :)

£124.50 is the cheapest I've seen so far (free P&P).
#37
Would it be possible to get PC World to Price match this and get a further 10% off making the bundle cost £62.10 ? ( Presumming that there is a PC World 30 miles from your Tesco where this is on offer ).
#38

#39
