Thanks for posting. I’ve added the product name and merchant to the title and an image.
Here’s a ‘Help’ link which gives tips and advice on thread posting.

Why did they bump the price up? Seems like they've got plenty of people buying them.

Probably as Christmas is coming or so they can reduce them to the normal price on Black Friday and Boxing Day sales etc. TBH I would wait and see how the new eu drone laws affect the hobby first as tbh they will kill the hobby.

We're out soon.....screw the EU and their drone laws

Brexit. This got cold but not sure why?

What are the EU drone laws?

People in the uk are already paranoid about these toys.

Really fancy this. Got £200 worth of Amazon vouchers as well. Holding back just because it hasn't been out long

Yes, £-$ exhange rate affecting the price, like a lot of other things. This is an opportunity to avoid the price increase, but voted cold because of the usual HUKD thing of people voting on stuff they know nothing about.

I was holding out but it increased in price!

Lots of places still have it at £999 - seems it's just the DJI shop that has increased

That Hitler video is very funny and so true! EU over reaction to the threat of drones just as the USA did but it will never stop the bad guys and only penalise the good.

That's a bit of a joke, 150ft high is nothing.

These things seem to take forever to be enshrined into law. Hopefully it won't happen.

The good thing about this drone is its tiny and packs away quickly, making it easier to avoid the jilljoys that the UK is full of. People in the USA fly them around Manhattan without much trouble. Yet an empty feild in the UK often gets someone moaning.

how does this compare to the Phantom 4 or the go Pro Karma? I like 'compactability' of this but reviews are putting the others ahead.... so confused..

I wish people would stop droning on about Brexit! :)

depends on what you want to use it for, p4 does have better camera and can get filters for the lens and if you like using, a normal RC controller then p4 is better. But mavic fits in a large pocket or bag, flies similar to p4 if not more responsive, does also have wifi link, so could fly in that mode and get use to it before sending out hundreds of metres.

as for gopro karma, they have all been recalled. Lots of videos of them just falling out of the sky.

I don't think it's that simple to say the p4 has the better camera. Lots of reviews prefer the image from the mavic as its less sharp. Still playing around in post most users won't notice much difference. I was always getting props in my p4 video, not as much of a issue on the mavic.

The new p4 pro has a far better image quality, espically In low light. In bright days your average user won't notice much difference but it does 4k at 60 fps.

Hubsan 501S, not as pro as this, but has all the same functions for a fraction of the price.

Looks relatively good too :)

beware of buying the version that does not come with the remote which means you can only fly with your phone over wifi and i hear you cant go very far without the signal dropping. dry go for the version with the remote, £1100 i think it should be. camera quality is ok, the phantom 4 pro is better camera. it means less mush when filming grass or trees.
size is the biggest selling point. if this drone had a better camera we might have the perfect drone

It really doesn't, apples and oranges.

No idea which reviews you've seen that put the Go pro karma ahead as every review I've seen says the karma is shockingly bad compared to the mavic. Have also seen tons of them crashed because they have no sensors and just drift all over the place.

hi.
I don't see it at that price £999. it's a thousand something either on its own or with bundle/accessories.
