If you're in the market for one of these, this price is excellent. If you're not, don't vote it cold because its too expensive in your opinion. Well spotted OP. You may get hit with vat charges (no import duty on electronic devices) when buying from a foreign seller though.

Use banggood several times without a problem, but I wouldn't fork out £750 to a Chinese seller...

You will most likely have to pay import tax

I doubt whether it's going to be made by DJI coming from China. Probably a cheap knock-off.

I think you will find that DJI are in fact........... A Chinese Company!

Racist much?

Stupid amount to spend with a Chinese seller, possibly no warranty and a high chance of import tax & VAT which would be an extra £167. No deal.

How does that make me a racist? You are quite obviously a complete fool.

Banggood are a really reputable retailer to deal with - I have bought hundreds of items from them over the past few years & they have always sorted any issues.
However, their pricing on the P4 seems to change almost daily - at one point it was as low as £780 & the deal was supposed to last another 4 days, but next day it was back up to full price.
So, who knows what the deal will be when it comes to Sept 9th

DJI have a repair centre in Germany, so if there was any issues you would need to pay to send it there to be fixed & they ship it back for free. If you are unsure about this contact DJI in Germany & ask them.
Re import tax - you probably will need to pay something, but the amount declared rarely bares any relation to what is sent. I have ordered items for US$5 & they marked it as US$20, other times I've paid US$50 & they marked it US$2 ?!*

There is no duty payable on electronic goods, just vat. So if you're unlucky enough to get hit by HMRC, you'd be paying £150 in vat making it too expensive compared to local prices. And the code is now expired anyway, so its £986.70 now. More expensive than buying locally if yu shop around and if you were caught, you'd be paying almost £200 in vat as well.
