Tronsmart s89 is far superior, £80, although you might want a different remote, custom roms on freak tab by finless are also good

There are much better products out there if you want to pay more. The Tronsmart doesn't come with a wireless keyboard/mouse either. I just thought this was a decent all-in-one starter kit for anybody that's looking to turn their TV into a smart TV.

Bought the Beelink M8 last week (same as Tronsmart S89) and find it quite a decent bit of kit. Put the Finless 1.7 rom on and everything works really well with XBMC. Replaced my Now TV box running Plex (never liked Plex that much).

Only trouble now is I need another to replace my Raspberry Pi, it's just so slow compared to the Beelink.

Spent ages researching which box to get, and found so many negative comments on just about all boxes. Glad I went for it anyway, no issues so far. No idea on this one that's been posted so not voting.

The specs on the Beelink look pretty decent. Where did you buy it from?

Got it off ebay. Was £59 used but came in as new condition. Didn't trust some of the cheaper sellers of the new product so was looking about £72 to £80 new.

The Beelink M8, Beelink S82 and Tronsmart S89 are all basically the same thing, Just find the cheapest.

beelink and tronsmart pretty much the same. Best app i have on it is show box.
I got the tronsmart s89-h for £75 from geekbuying.com

I also got melee f10 pro airmouse from them for £10.

£85 for quadcore android with dts and dolby hardware, 16gb of internal storage, plus airmouse.

Thanks for that info. I was looking at them earlier and they look quite impressive. Nice looking specs. Much better than this rubbish deal that somebody has posted! I might treat myself.

Thanks a lot for the info and the link. I've not heard of geekybuying before but they've got some interesting stuff on there. As I said in my previous post, I might treat myself to either the Beelink or the Tronsmart to replace my Pi.

Cheers!
