Yes electric planes rule, my old jack plain is slowly going rusty somewhere, can't bring myself to throw it out, suppose if we leave the EU, and civilisation ends as we know it, ( well according to the stay in guys ) it would come in handy as there will be no electricity (_;).
These are not the Irwin Record tools that you may remember from years past. They are just branding them now, it's standard Chinese fare. Not to run down the Chinese planes, they make some exceptional stuff these days but this isn't one of them. Even worse than the Mexican Stanely plane efforts.
Better off buying an old Record or Stanley, you can pick them up pretty cheap off eBay, the old planes are the best.
£18.95 on eBay. With free delivery, from what I can see.
Dunno about their planes but if they're as good as their 230mm reciprocsting saw blades it should be great.

Demolished a strong shed (10'x6') with embedded screws and nails using just 1 blade, about £3 worth. :)

Not cheap really , its not a stand alone nailer you would need a good compressor to run it as well.

That's why is says air powered in the heading
Very good price for this bit of kit, sells for quite a bit more elsewhere.

OP says it is not for everyone, so yes, you need a good compressor!!

Bought it. Nice bit of kit. Cut up a pallet with it today, which isn't what it's designed for, but it coped quite well.

I pride myself on never having bought any fuel for my wood-burning stove, but do wonder how much I could have bought for the money I've spent on electric saws and related tools!
D&M should be at the Sandown Park Toolfair on 7th and 8th November
Ooh, nice tool. And D&M are just round the corner from me. Must resist ... at least until they open tomorrow :)

Not Li-ION I know but saves a few £'s

I have the Drills and they are AWESOME!!

Great find.
can anyone comment on D&M tools please? looking at getting a trendrouter from them, they seem to have a good rep, but would like to hear from anyone on here.

good deal BTW, heat added
btw, just seen a similar bundle on fleabay - but with
2 x 18 volt 2Ah Ni-Cd batteries, 1 x 60 min Charger - for £334 - so £60 more for the 4 Li-Ion is excellent..
Excellent price for this bundle... I have the drill out of this lot (not with Li-Ion) and it''s great - that alone cost £100 (rrp was £199). To get 6 tools, and 4 batteries for this price is indeed awesome. voted hot. Not sure why you'd need two chargers, but who cares...
ooo certain people cold voting for no reason again

can ya show me where it's cheaper?

I've got the plane, drill, and circular saw in the same range and they are great tools. The bonus is that they all come with free 3 year warranty. Actually, mine are now guaranteed for life through a deal they were doing a few months back, but they're no longer offering that.

Also do a search on the d&M tools site for A.E.G. they have some other good offers too!

Great Drill, Great Price !

Got one of these a couple of months back and have found it to be up to anything I have thrown at it.
Remarkably small compared to a lot of other makes but has a higher Kilo Joules hammer action than virtually all but the most expensive lithium battery sds drills.

Something to be aware of, is that it is only a two function drill, meaning that it has DRILL and HAMMER DRILL but not HAMMER ONLY for chiseling.

Also it doesn't include a standard drill chuck for non SDS bits but these can be bought separately from most DIY outlets or are interchangeable for other drills.

All together a great buy, Voted HOT !

in addition to the fact that you will need to buy a transformer to use this, it is also a pain because it has a keyed chuck. a keyless chuck makes life much easier.

the need for a transformer alone should put the average diyer off, they're heavy and cumbersome, and cost about £50 from screwfix.

check out screwfix and you'll find some decent mains powered keyless chuck drills for not much more than this. word of warning though, you definitely get what you pay for with power drills.
I've seen people do it too, that's why i mentioned it.
Yeah I've seen people cut off 110v plugs and put 240v plug tops on. Then they wonder why it stops working.
If you can plug a 110v plug into a 240v socket you are a very impressive person as they are completely different.
Hi

Don't forget though peeps, It's 110 Volts so you'll need a transformer. Obviously it won't just plug into a normal mains socket without a transformer, if you try it'll blow up.

Cracking deal though!!
