12 GB ram!
#2
This will be the size of a match box in a couple of years.
#3
OMG, speechless... well, if you would have any need for something that is THAT much of a beast, good deal - maybe they will make software that would take full advantage of the capabilities in about 5 years time, lol :)
#4
an IBM machine, hideously ev0lved! need..
#5
my desk would snap, so i'll give it a miss. Besides mine is still quite new

Lol, I'm sat here looking at this deal on a 486, running Windows 95 - maybe it's time for an upgrade!
#7
You're essentially paying about 1700 pounds for the case, i'm pretty sure you could build it for half of the amount they're charging
#8
The case alone is £500 :?

ThermalTake level 10

#11

this one is a beast with no needs for todays gaming or programs. of course would like to have this one.
if you configuring your pc right,4 gb of ocz memory more hen enough.

If you photoshopped everything but the tower out and edited it into the HK skyline it wouldn't go amiss as a funky new skyscraper!

In all seriousness though that thing is mammoth. I'm quite stuck on my macs tho but praise to its spec and price.
#13
its look like HAL
#14
almost 3 grand and you dont even get a free 1yr Anti-Virus subscription? ...LOL..

if you make the monthly payment then by the time you pay for this PC it will be worthless :-(

Edit : looks nice tho... :)
#15
Damn..that is one ugly looking desktop!!

I guess they are trying to be different but it physically hurts my eyes to look.

interesting design-certainly different and would buy it if the price was right. When I first saw this I thought it was an attempt to make the PC more modular with plug in mudules attached to the main board. Although I have to also agree with all of the comments here.

It looks like something you'd see in the Turner Prize. Who would buy one of these?
#24
Think I'll stick to Alienware if spending this kind of cash + there cases are much much cooler:whistling:

Hmmm. I like the Slayer 7 desktop, and I also likethe Dell Studio 15 http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/609174/dell-studio-15-with-i7-720qm-cpu-6g, but which is better?

Looking at the size of it, viruses would be scared to go near it :)

Whoaaaa Don't, you'll push im over the edge.......;-)
#30
It's not actually that good a spec... 920 is old
#31
For this silly price, you could buy a overclocked core i7 crossfire-enabled custom desktop from overclockers UK with a 24" screen PLUS a 15.6/17" notebook with core i5-750 with 260M GT.
#32
I buy dual processor, quad core models with 48GB RAM and 6 HDDs for less that half that price for work. This is so cold my fingers nearly froze to my keyboard!!!

Nerds have come out to play.........again! Fella's dont forget it's Valentines day tomorrow...........but then again I dont think it'll make a lot of difference to you lot!

Nerd - "Look love my RAM is huge!

Mrs Nerd - "That's great dear, can you send the Milkman into me when he arrives I need servicing."

Nerd - "But we use PC World for that dont we love?"

Milkman - Was that a double cream you required Mrs Nerd?
#34
who would spend that much on a gaming PC?
alan wake cancelled, deadspace uncertain, sims and crysis going to console, infinity ward screwed them up, fifa always sucks on PC.........its left with s**t.

hopefully starcraft 2 and guild wars 2 can bring some life back into pc gaming.

plus despite spending this much, its gonna be under £1000 in a couple of years.
#35
Awesome set up, but as everybody has said - you could build it youself for half the price - if not less!

Yeah, this is actually a relatively mid-range PC. It's got a TN 60hz screen and only a blu-ray reader. You could do a lot better than this if you were building the ultimate PC.

p.s. I'd imagine the Lian-Li PC777 is actually taller than this Level 10 case.
