Featuring all the episodes from series 1 & 2 of Doc Martin.

Dr Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes) is forced to give up his career as an eminent surgeon, and retrain as a GP, after developing a phobia to blood. A vacancy arises in the sleepy Cornish hamlet of Portwenn following the death of the local GP. A regular visitor to Portwenn as a child with his Aunt Joan (Stephanie Cole), Martin applies for the position. However, his complete lack of social skills and human understanding are going to get him into plenty of scrapes, that's for sure!

You know its going to be bad when they think of the name of the show before they think of the concept itself. It was borne out of the same thinking as Alan Partridge when he is desperately trying to get a TV deal by just throwing out names for shows....."erm Partridge with the Pigeons"......"inner city sumo"......."monkey tennis?"

Very good price but I still just can't watch it.

The basis of the series was from the film 'Saving Grace' in which Martin Clunes played the same character. The concept therefore preceded the name of the show !

That movie had Bill Bailey smoking weed in it. That's pretty much all I remember apart from the 'hilarious' lighting of the greenhouse.
#13
I would watch Monkey Tennis
#14
Have to agree with some of the sentiments here... it's a great price but a bit of a duff show.
#15
HOT this is

My Grandma's birthday present sorted, thanks!

Why doesn't Martin Clunes do good stuff anymore?

It would never have been greenlit had they not gone with the name. And on the off chance it would, nobody would have watched it.
