Yet another FAB deal from play.com today HOT!!

I have one of these. There really good. They say they dont support Iphone, But my 3GS plays and charges through it, so no worries.
#4
Anyone got the dimensions?
#5
@ Matt H... I was wondering how it measured up as well. Heheh.

I havent got a ruler to hand, but i do have a dvd case, and a rough guess. So the Length and depth (rectangle) are about the same size as a DVD case. Then its just less than a credit card tall.

Possibly the most obscure dimensions ever given, but im sure you can get your own dvd case, and credit card and work it out.

looks like its too loud and bright for an alarm clock if your buying it for that - read the reviews

Definitely?

I've got one 2, they also charge and plays my iPhone 4.

I've just taken a tape mesure to it, it's 8" wide, by 5" deep, by 2 3/4" high

What's the sound quality like Bassjunkie?

Soes the remote control work with Iphone 3gs?
#13
this will do for work charge and play lurrve it hot
#14
Well I have one and I thought I'd chip in.
It's a steal at ths price. The sound quality is surprisingly good. It feels light, and a bit cheaply made, but it doesn't show when playing music, it sounds great. Looks good, not too big, easy to use, not too bright for me atleast, you can always turn it off.
It lies beside my bed, and I've found that when charging my phone it sometimes makes that annoying phone-speaker feedback noise every now and then, which is frustrating at night. But I doubt that's a problem exclusive to this product..
Also the remote is as good as useless, you'd be lucky to get it to work at anything greater than 2 feet away.
All in all, it's decent, especially at this price.

Nice one, wouldn't mind getting another one as a present!!
#16
Great for kids bedroom, my daughter got one last Christmas, no problems with it
#17
Aggh. So tempted to buy this! Was looking for something very similar a month ago and the cheapest I could find was about £35!
#18
Seems a great price to me. Just what I was looking for. Thanks8)

Try putting it in airplane mode, works for mine
#22
Bought one of these last time they came up, complete waste of money IMO.

Volume is terrible, setting one is to loud and no way to make it quieter!

Buzzing noise from speakers meant it was useless on the bedside table.

Do yourself a favour and buy another one.

Any one know if a similar dock exist for the HTC desire?
#24
will this fit an iphone 4?

It's not bad, not the best quality, but has a reasonable range of bass and treble. You can also get some decent volume from it without distorting :)

The remote works, or should I say, the volume, play and pause work....I tend not to use the other buttons :)...but can give them a try if you wish.

I have however used this with a iPod Touch 2G 32Gb, an iPhone 3GS, and my current iPhone 4

I use my iPhone 4 in it, you do get the usual warning "No compatible...." but output through the speakers fine, and charges

I used to have a 32Gb touch, and worked prefectly. I think its designed for touch really. Just all other ipods (not sure about shuffle) seem to work on them. I assume nano works as the plastic holder for an nano is provided, as well as a holder for a classic, and a touch.

I bought one last year for £17.99. Don't expect Bose quality and you'll be ok. It's cheap, cheerful and built to a price point.

I find the clock too bright, even on lowest setting, so cover the clock with my iPod case overnight. for some reason the radio stopped working for 2 weeks, then came back to life, but with far too much static. However it charges my iPod Classic, plays using the sleep setting until I drift off, then wakes me in the morning, which pretty much is all I need.
#34
Wish I'd got mine at this price! Thoroughly recommended. As to size,it's exactly the same as 4 dvds stacked on top of each other. If you want a cheap, handy wee charger/player you'll be pushed to find better.

Sound quality it good. Not exceptional but good. Well worth the money
#36
Nice find. Ordered the pink one for my daughters birthday.
#37
great find! just ordered one! heat added!
#38
I had one of these and had to send it back. As many have said, the static makes it useless as a bedside table device. I picked a similar one up from ASDA for the same price and it has none of the sound problems but I have to put a sock across the display.

£12.99 may seem cheap but if you have even in the slightest, sensitive hearing don't get this.
#39
As a slight aside is anyone aware of something like this that works with the current gen of iPod shuffles?
#40
nice for a cheap dock and alarm clock
