I got one last year and really good value for the money. This will probably get lots of bad feedback but remember how much it is. Good clear sound display dims or switch off. I like it, and I paid £17.99
Hot from me.

Oh **** not this again . They're probably re-selling the many that have been returned (mine included) . It hummed all night long and the volume of the alarm was preset at "11" and couldn't be changed

this makes a hissing sound even when powered off

voted hot even though i paid 12.99 recently use only at work great for charging my ipod great sound
great unit only interference ive noticed is when i get text to phone i can live with that

A tip: Turn iPhone to airport mode should stop the hissing/interference noise.

ordered for iPhone 4
#11
so is it the phone causing the hissing? do you get it with mp3 players too?

Trust me. This thing is not great. Bought a pink one for my daughter earlier this year. Poor build quality, interference via speakers, remote doesn't work on all functions, rather tacky, but sound not too bad, considering everything else?! Play never posted my disgruntled feedback either! Put a few quid in extra & buy something decent, & from someone else!

Great, so to get it to work, you have to mess about and turn your iPhone into an iTouch. Like thats gonna happen.

Fed up of reading about the exact same problem with these cheapy docks.

I've got a similar one made by logic 3 and it is the iPhone causing the noise I just turn it onto aeroplane mode and it's fine
#15
This isn't very well shielded so not great for iPhones, my iPhone does ask if I want to turn to Airplane Mode when I plug it in though.

this deal was on last xmas. boght it for the missus

its good. charges all ipods and iphones. although dont charge your iphone at night as its really noisy with the transmitter interference. Even though there are 2/3 levels of brightness, each one is really bright to light up the whole room at night so we always dim it completely but you then cant see the time! Also a bit temperemntal connection, e.g. if you move it slighlty it cuts out so you have to re-do the clock.

These are all really minor issues though and for what you're paying it really is a good deal

Why are people complaining about having to turn their iPhones airplane mode on to cut out interference, how many people leave their phones on at night? the last thing I want at night is to be woken up when one of my friends drunkenly phones me by mistake.
