Brilliant, ordered for my son, so far I've only bought him the David Tennant episodes because let's face it, he's the only one worth watching.

I watched the first 20 minutes of the new episodes but there's no way my son was watching it because of the lesbian alien/human couple. I also won't let him watch any episodes with that Captain Jack in it, I mean, why do they have to ruin things with this PC rubbish?!!?

And before anybody gets offended, I'm not homophobic, I just don't want my 6 year old to watch stuff like that.

In the Sixties people said they wouldn't let their kids watch star trek because of the inter-racial kiss between Uhura and Spock. But they weren't racist.

Oh be quiet, if you think it's acceptable to show a 6 year old child same sex relationship material then that's up to you, I personally don't want to have to explain it to my young son and confuse the heck out of him. It's a personal choice so don't try to label me, thank you very much!

Think really it's your own comments that lead people to make a judgement on you and label you. If you feel uncomfortable with that spare a thought for minorities that for that very reason have been written out of history and TV to keep people feeling comfortable.
As a father of 2 one aged 7 one aged 4. Think you would do better just to show your kids the world as it is. Sorry people can't fit into your narrow boxes. Gay relationship are part of life am sure there's lots more in Dr who that's far more confusing.

Ah the old I'm not homophobic crap. Next you'll be saying you've got loads of gay and lesbian friends :(

You honestly think that will be the only thing that he will question from a Doctor Who series? oO

It aint that mini btw, we already have this sonic so I ordered another one thinking "mini" would be a smaller one - this one is 7", same as the other one we have.

What else is he going to question, daleks, cybermen?!?! Are you serious, it's a fictional TV show that is supposed to be for kids, so why they have to sex it up, gay or straight, is beyond me! The way the Doctor and Rose was handled was brilliant, adults knew what they were feeling but it wasn't in the face of younger viewers! There is just no need for it in a pre-watershed tv series like Dr Who. UK tv has gone mad, I can't even have the soaps on in front of my kid nowadays for all the over the top sexed up nonsense that is on, as early as 7pm?!?!?! Ridiculous!!

Fictional TV show for kids? and sexing it it up?, I must be watching a different Doctor Who than you are.
Why is a 6 year old watching soaps? And I think if you really want to question Doctor Who, what about all the killing of humans by some scary monsters etc since the show has come back.

My son only watches ones with the Daleks and Cybermen, not exactly what you'd call scary are they! As for him watching soaps, he doesn't but gone are the days when I could watch them while he plays in the background, there's no way I could risk that nowadays, the boy would be scarred for life with some of the nonsense that is shoved in our faces!!
