Code not working for me. Still a hot price without discount.

I'd rather watch this than the new series and that poor impression of a doctor (matt smith)
Chris ecclestone, was very believable and entertaining. So have some heat from me!!!!

When Matt's been exterminated, I'll probably join my son on the sofa again and watch it.

OMG!! How can you say that ! Matt Smith is BRILLIANT as was David Tennant !!!

Anyone know what box set to get if you want all the series before Matt smith with all the specials and christmas episodes?

Of the five full series thus far, I think series 1 was the most consistently well-written.

Eccleston reinvented Dr Who and was great, likeable and believable,

Tennant understood the role better and was more Doctorish, but Chris is still MY Doctor.

Matt Smith is good, but the stories aren't on the same level as before.

I've resisted buying any of the new series but I would be tempted by S5, Matt Smith has been consistently better than Tennant and has far more elements of the previous Doctors. It wasn't Tennant's fault just the duff writing of RTD. Eccleston was good but some of the stories were weak and dull.

Shirley Series 1 was the early 60s black and white perogrammes starring William Hartnell....

It's series 1 of 'Doctor Who (2005)', technically a different production to the original series. It just happens to be set in the exact same universe and timeline ;)

Until they do an 'Eleven Doctors' special with the old docs digitally recreated.

Ordered - heat added. Cheers

Matt Smith is as wooden as some of the sets used in the 70's.

Really enjoyed the 1st series and such a shame Chris did not stay on for at least 1 more series. Not a fan of David Tennant's Doctor myself but having said that The End Of Time episode was fairly poor with the exception of the end where Tennant regenerates (If you ignore the saying goodbye to his companions guff) is such a moving scene and I felt DT deserved a better written episode to sign off on. Got to say though I'm loving Matt Smith as Eleven.

Enough of the rambling. :)

Regarding Series 1 The Empty Child FTW. :D "Mommy", "Are you my Mommy". Freaky as hell. lol
