Apart from the fact that the voucher is for Domestos 24HR bleach....
The Domestos that Tesco have on offer is the standard one.
My local Tesco will not accept vouchers for products that have not been purchased and technically this deal falls into that category.
#2
They actually do have the '24hr' on offer at 50p as I bought some yesterday.

Half Price was £1.00 now 50p - valid from 03/11/2009 until 24/11/2009

here's a bigger picture...http://img.tesco.com/pi/xpi/1/5000186481001_200.jpg and no one suggested that you use the voucher against something you didn't purchase...if you read the post...its how you can now get the Domestos (24hr version) for only 0.15p as opposed to the half price (of 0.50p) previously posted, against the original price of 0.99p...a saving of 0.84p per bottle....

read my post....read your own post again (then edit) before you stop people missing out on this bargain....:whistling:...oh yes....and technically.....read other peoples posts before you start typing...

Bought Domestos from Tesco on three occasions since the offer has been on and ALL were the 24HR type.

Coupon worked on all occasions with no problems!!!

Should this not be in the voucher section?

The voucher could be in the voucher section, but this is pointing out the 15p deal. Good post.

You need to register to get the voucher, as it appears to be a 'premium offer'. Maybe this is why it is not working. Accessing your link sends my computer into meltdown:?

Here the link for the coupons if required http://www.mumplusone.com/vouchers.aspx?vouchercat=9&voucher=50. Hosting seems a good idea but I'm not that tech savvy.

It's not 15p if you haven't got the voucher

Tesco HAVE to offer the voucher - they are not losing anything. Domestos just refunds them the voucher cost!

I'm surprised with a name like bargain bucket bob you couldn't be @$$ed printing out the coupon to get something which normally sells at for 99p for only 15p...on other forums people are delighted to stock up on the stuff...some getting 15 or 20 bottles....

so if you could be bothered to print out 20 vouchers you could get £19.80 worth of Domestos (keeps for ages) for only £3....

not a lot of work for a great saving....:whistling:
#17
This is a bargain @ 15p a shot. I have the voucher, 4 a page & it scans everytime.
#18
 Not a hot deal but a super hot deal.

Going to print the voucher once and then try scanning it several times in the self checkout see how it goes.;-)
#19
Can any clever person put 4 on a page and post it as a pdf, I can't get my computer to do it.

Thanks

Tesco's are very funny with these coupons - sometimes they dont accept them even though they are specifically for Tesco's. Not very good. :(

let us know how you get on and specify which Tesco you shop in...unless of course...

you're not going to try...or...you do and it goes fine....in either case...if you don't try, you'll never know...in which case why post "not very good"...?

to date no one has reported they have been unsuccessful....in fact most reports agree multiple purchases are fine...in some cases now ... over 30 bought in one weekly shop....:whistling:

The voucher part itself does not mention Tesco only the top part does. I have printed 9 per a4 sheet of paper (voucher part only) Will go and try see if i can get them through the self serve kiosk has any one tried this?

If anyone wants the 9 per sheet let me know and i will email it
#24
I did have a problem in my local Tesco last week. I handed over a few to be told sorry you could have photo copied these. It resulted in me telling them to stick their shopping and I emailed sir Terry to tell him I was not HP. I also emailed a link to the origional voucher on mums plus one.

His office today sent me an apology letter along with a gift card to say sorry for the useless and poorly trained staff. Well not in those words!
#25
Picked up four with my shopping, thanks!
#26
Just bought 2 bottles at Tesco Newton Aycliffe for 30p cracking deal. Voted hot
#27

Yes I used the self serve kiosk to purchase the last remaining two at my local Tesco.

A word of advice, after scanning the voucher, you are asked to drop the voucher into the voucher hole. So I spent a little while ripping the A4 sheet of paper and then popping it into the hole.

For the second one I had to do on another transaction and because of the time i took to put the voucher into the hole after scanning, the system called a member of staff to authorise the voucher. Which they did.

So i would advise you to cut the barcodes out before going to Tesco and do individual transactions at the self serve just remember to take plenty of change with you

Just noticed that these vouchers are valid until December next year?

Ok I just got back from two Tesco’s both been A**oles and managed by clowns as managers. I took my 9 vouchers to the A4 sheet and one full size one.

Store one

They would not scan through the self checkout, the full size one would the smaller ones wouldn’t. Assistance giving it the large and calls manger this guy was such an a**ole. I was going to knock him out. He claims that they have to be printed in colour for him to accept them. When I asked him why others stores were accepting B&W he said well go there then and it was up to him what he accepted or didnt in his store. Would not even accept the full size one. This guy will get a serious slap one day with his attitude.

Store two

Smaller ones would not scan large full size one did, the lady said as long as they scan she will accept them, so will take loads off full size B&W ones tomorrow.
Looks like it’s down to the individual at the store if these get accepted or not, there does not seem to be a standard policy. But just goes to show how cocky and obnoxious Tesco staff are.

So I intend to screw them for lots of domestos now just to get my own back :)

Cracking deal. Discount + voucher = 85% cheaper than most other outlets.

Think I'll buy a couple of toilets just to satisy the craving for a few more bottles.

Feel the heat.

Just bought 12 at Tesco Shrewsbury (the huge store), loads in stock. What a struggle, virtually accused of fraud.

Staff seemed very unsure of procedures. They first thought that all vouchers should have a unique serial and barcode - Wrong.

Vouchers printed 4 on a page would not scan at all on customer services till, but would all scan on a normal till after the reader was held a bit further back.

Still nice to have a good supply of loo cleaner for the grand sum of £1.80.

Amazing how worried staff were about Mr Tesco's profits - should get a bonus for that, but not too customer orientated.
#32
Only picked up one on last trip no prob. Happy to pick one up at a time on each visit. Not worth the hassle of getting loads at once.

I can't mention the store but i have been accused of photcopying them. I have been treated like i am committing a fraud. I have been quized as to exactly where i have got these coupons from. I was even told that I must have a very dirty house buying all this bleach (only 10 bottles). It's very painful shopping at Tesco's with coupons. They are the worsed shopping experience for me. A far better place is Morrisons or Asda's. They really treat you with respect and value you as a customer. Tesco's have got too big for their own boots. Bad place to shop! Won't buy anything from Tesco's. Terrible place!
#34
Dont know what the hell is going on with Tesco. Missus also got accused of photocopying this today when she went to pay for ONE! Gonna complain.
#35
Think the simple answer is send an email to Tesco to complain...about shoddy treatment, rude staff, etc...if you don't they will continue to think they can get away with it...

the voucher is legal
the deal is with Tescos
not everyone has a colour printer (I have a black and white laser)
T&Cs on the voucher are pretty straightforward...its individual numpties employed by Tesco that are causing the problems

its also Tescos problem that they decided to run a promotion cutting the price of Domestos to 50p, then agreed to run the voucher as well (how else do they get their name on it!)

they made a similar c0ckup a few weeks ago when they ran a promo of 2 X bottles fairy liquid for £2, with special £2 off coupons on each one against the fairy dishwashing tablets already at half price from £7.95 to £3.47...then you got £2 off them with the voucher as well....they got badly burned on that promo....now they are getting hammered again on this one....sorry Tesco...your promos team are dumb@$$

fill your boots (metaphorically) while you can...the 50p Domestos offer ends 24/11/2009
#36
Yea I was planning to but cant seem to find an email address on their website!?
#38
Whered you get that address from? CEO nice touch!
