Just had the email form MSE, it's listed on there too.

Ends: Sun 15 Aug Where: Nearest Dominos
How: Order online or in store, quoting the offer Food: Pizza

A strong feature of this deal is that it also includes 'Create Your Own' pizzas with up to 4 toppings. With the average large pizza at Dominos costing up to £17, this is a hefty saving on a night in.

sounds like a good deal :P

This offer has been on for ages cos I see the foriegners standing with the A boards advertising it on the roadsides! £9.99 sounds expensive for a pizza to me?
#14
I agree with a previous poster - DURRTYY Pizzas and VERY lightly brushed with toppings

I always open my window at shout abuse at them even though I feel sorry for them lol.

Pizza's should never be priced over £9.99 in the first place. How they can justify a pizza above and beyond that is just damned insulting. This includes the other chains such as Pizza Hut.

I'm almost certain things like this are more expensive than oil, yet people never complain.

Personally, I only ever order a pizza when there's offers available. Usually the lunchtime ones aren't ad when you can get a medium pizza, drink and side for about £8.99. That's Pizza Hut though, as I don't have a Domino's near me.

I agree that the price of pizzas in this country (like many other items, of course) is absolutely unjustifiable. It's really ridiculous. Anyone who has been abroad to virtually anywhere will know that pizza abroad is so much better in terms of taste and value.

The problem is probably that there is no room for a shop which sells only pizzas and (virtually) nothing else - I know that even a very popular pizza store around here does not reach 100 orders on its busiest night. That means that profit margins are low and costs are high, and thus so are the prices. The additions of "extras" such as chicken nuggets or garlic bread is an attempt to rectify this problem, but it is not successful.

I would encourage everyone to try pizzas from your local delicatessens or even takeaway shops. There are some dodgy/greasy looking places that I know do incredibly nice (oven-baked and freshly made) pizzas for £5 a go. The bottom line is, for the price of a SINGLE pizza from any of the major chains, I can get a 3-course meal for two or even three from a good quality takeaway.
#18
i work in dominos and from my experience, if you just say you have a bogof voucher, you dont have to present it as the manager doesnt care. but that may vary for other stores!

Not available in Wirral

in portsmouth, you can always enjoy 'buy one get one free' offer if you go to the shop!!!!
#21
How is this at all hot, domino's pizzas are awful, like has been mentioned before give some local businesses a try instead for a cheaper price and better tasting food.
#22

or better still, make your own.

pizza base mix costs about 50p and makes two pizzas. Passata (tom sauce) costs about 50p and will easily cover 2 pizzas. Grated mozzarella is about £2

thats two margheritas freshly made in about 5 minutes for £3 and taste infinitely better than frozen / takeaway shizzle

I chuck a few prawns, tuna, onion and sardines on our two so gotta add about £1 for the topping.

Although dont make the mistake my OH made by cooking it directly on the shelf as you do with frozen pizzas LMAO

Just thought I'd point out, if you're wanting pizzas in multiples of two, the Two for Tuesday deal works out cheaper. Had two large pizzas last night for 17 quid. :)

Or to make their own... For about £1+ you can bake a proper pizza as long as you use genuine pizza flour (although not easy to find it is worth it) and a very hot oven with a pizza stone (granite tile). We will never buy ready made pizzas again unless there is no alternative!

Mozerella ball shreaded is as easy and just as good but much cheaper (50p) you can mix normal cheese too and will cover at least two pizzas!
#27
I'm voting cold. They have been doing this offer for ages, its nothing new.
#28
I wasn't aware of the offer so news to me. Thanks

Don't forget if you work for the emergency services everything in dominoes is half price!

I never usually order unless I have a BOGOF on ANY pizza or 50% off when you spend £25. This is overpriced at £9.99.

Its funny really, reading some of these comments about Dominos quality, etc. I've had a lot of pizza in my time (it shows! :p) from chain stores, supermarkets, local shops/delis, late night takeaways, and so on from various parts of the country, and while i agree that ultimately making your own is the best way to enjoy pizza - if you want the convenience of a *takeaway* pizza, I personally think Dominos are pretty good, and not particularly more expensive than the competition given the regular special offers they do? However, saying that, the quality can be variable from store to store, so when you find a good one it's worth sticking with.

I have to say that this particular deal has been around for a long long time where i live (cambridgeshire), but it will probably be new somewhere in the country? We had Dominos last night on the Tuesday BOGOF deal from the Hills Road, Cambridge branch. I noticed a big A-board outside proclaiming something like 'any pizza with one topping - £4.99 - collection only before 4pm'. Now that IS a hot pizza deal, though mainly for the students! :D
#35
we have an offer in our local one, Westferry it was £5.99 for pizza with one topping, but you can add more toppings for 30p each so still works out quiet cheap

No. You do that because you have the mind of a child.

10 quid for a pizza is not a bargain.
#37
Tesco frozen pizza, £1. Nuff said.

But if you need an excuse not to get this, you will be giving money to Domino's far-right evangelical christian owner, Thomas Monaghan, who funds anti abortion groups in the USA and campaigns to stop evolution being taught in schools!

All you have to do is say "I've got a voucher for buy one get one free" when you phone. The drivers never ask for it, but if they do you just say you had a code that was given to work online, but it wouldn't...

if u do want to try this scam,i suggest tippin the driver ,cos if driver dotn get tipped they will ask for voucher,if no voucher given then its mentioned to manager
