What? well you asked, you drive to tesco find the frozen isle, pick your favourite frozen pizza, open the freezer door and pick it up. Then go to the checkout with your pizza, you can use the self service checkout for speed or a manned till if you want a chat. The pizza will cost about £2.30 it uses 50p in petrol to drive to Tesco and back or free if you walk.

Because if someone only wanted a small one they wouldn't want to waste a load of food by buying a large one and throwing most of it in the bin !

Depends how much of a value you put on your free time. Some people would rather relax and have a pizza delivered than go out and faff around. Seems like you are trashing the business model of fast food delivery. Seems to be quite popular last time I checked!

It's the ever increasing laziness of society. And probably a reason why a lot of people are overweight.

They definately should bring in heavy taxes for junk food such as this, as the nhs have to pick up the bill for fatties who cannot be bothered to get off their arse to get themselves some healthy food.

Enjoy your heart attack

Perhaps I may have a heart attack if I ate this type of food on a regular basis. Lazy is only a matter of opinion anyway. Invalid argument.

I know plenty of fit and healthy people who enjoy occasional takeaways. There's nothing wrong with the odd treat now and again. Moderation is the key. Think you're stereotyping somewhat there mate.

Invalid argument, why? because u say so lol? Denied.. :p

So, lazy is a matter of opinion?

We are all here alive today due to our ancestors staying active and avoiding being eaten by predators, fat and lazy people wouldn't have stood a chance

Nah it is just an argument i put forward, that is all.... these are discussion forums last i checked..

My underlying argument was that fast food should be taxed more. I did not state that everyone who eats takeways is unfit. However they help to keep these businesses up and running

Surely the person that you were responding to was addressing the OP's statement that 9.99 for a pizza was cheaper than going to Tesco. What that has to do with time\willingness to make your own dinner.

He's not really trashing the fast food business model, but trying to show that its not cheaper than buying a pizza from dominoes

But cold leftover pizza is the breakfast of champions though! :-D

wtf how the hell did a flame war start over pizza. you guys have too much time to waste on friday afternoon ;)

cold deal from me.
#24
Its an alright deal. If you have some friends round and share a 13.5in pizza, but other than that, Just going to the local shop and getting a frozen pizza, then heating it up is cheaper. Even cheaper to make one yourself.

Not fair to compare Tesco's frozen Pizza with Domino's - massive difference is taste. If you're going to vote cold - compare like with like. Its like comparing the M&S £10 meal wit going to a restaurant! Voted hot for me.

I have to say in my experience of buying 1 Domino pizza at £12.99 I thought the base would have been crispy as asked. The pizza was twice as expensive as my local kabab shop that also give you twice the amount of fillings & tasted very poor for such Money.Maybe it was the £12.99 that had already put a sour taste in my mouth before I ate it.

Never again will I buy from Domino's.

True but how would you compare Domino's pizzas to your local kabab shops who sell them at half this price ?
