As title says these juices are excellent for you as they are 100% juices unlike the other juices which are sold which are not 100% juices and are from concentrates.

Its a excellent deal as most places sell this for over £1.

Asda frequently do these for £1 or multibuy specials. However, I tend to buy them as a last resort. IMO, Don Simon branded orange juices are the worst I have ever tasted, even compared to own brands. Definitely the most sour. But if you're into sour juices, then its fine.

I thought this drink was horrible! Not to mention the fact that it has a rediculous amount of sugar in it, similar to that of the original Sunny D.

Sour? No SHARP due to high Citric Acid content. I first tried this in Spain before it was available here, and found it to be excellent. Obviously I was glad to see it become available here. It is imported from Spain, and has a short shelf life because it is freshly squeezed. At this price HOT!!!

I agree with you. Its rather unpleasant and is definitely only a last resort if Tropicana or Florida is at full price in the supermarket as far as 'premium brands' go. Although I found the Clementine one to be better in taste than the Orange.

Still for 77p it is a hot deal.

Give me Don Simon Sangria in a carton any day! :)

The lemon one is delicious with vodka- have to pop to Nettos ready for the weekend, now just need to find some cheap but decent vodka!

Erm what is this claim that other 'juices' are not 100% juice? I find that a misleading claim. If a drink is called a 'juice' then it must by law be 100% fruit juice. However, if it is called a 'drink' or a 'juice drink' then it may be made partially of water and possibly added sugar.

Try Tesco's own brand 'juices'. They too are not from concentrate, they have no water taken away from them and no water added back to them. In fact, I'll add a long term Tesco saver to the HUKD posts right now :)

The man from Don Simon - he say YES..............

What is meant by concentrate.

These are a great range of juices and have been buying them since Asda first started to stock them. The Clementine is great as are some of the more unusual mixes like the strawberry and orange etc.

Many Tesco juices at comparable prices are from concentrate. These are not freshly squeezed and cannot be compared to the Tesco Freshly Squeezed which is excellent but over double the price.
