This game is like gold dust near me, managed to reserve the last copy at Argos for £33 over the weekend.

If you're not in the 'I only buy physical copies to sell/trade on' camp then you can get it sub £30 from cd keys using their fb 5% off code.

True, but it meant leaving the house, and I'm lazy at weekends. But you're right I will be able to get quite a bit back from it when I come to sell it

John Lewis' selection of Wii U games is extremely limited though I remember them getting games early for the customers to try them out.. guess they ended that deal.

It's crazy how this game was £25 (price I brought for) so soon after launch but has never gone down that low again and it really is a gem too.

Well please be so kind as to tell us where it can be found cheaper new from a reputable seller.
If I was buying even if the grainier game price was still available would rather pay the extra ~£1 and get it from john lewis.

Now let me go see where I put that time machine of mine, how much it was back when you bought doesn't really help people who didn't have a wii u/hadn't planned on buying the game back when it came out(hadn't known about, where waiting on reviews etc).

A great game and a reminder of how well Nintendo games hold their price. I was looking at Pikmin 3 on Amazon earlier - they want £40 for it!

Good price, I'm the same as Jazzer94 though - luckily got it from TGC for about £29 on release!

I thought this would be nearly £20 by now.

I sold Monster Hunter 3U back to Amazon the other day and got 26 quid for it. It paid for my Captain Toad pre-order with change! Not bad for a game that's getting on for two years old!

only works if you're a new customer, if not they'll see you've got a previous account and will then remove the discount and you will be charged the full ammount, post it as a deal and see how far you get

I got mine delivered free from toys r us and used the £5 off a £30 spend code BIRTHDAY10 so got it for 27.89 last week. Hope that helps someone.

Unfortunately you have to apply for their credit account to do this :-( . Saves you a lot, but I kind of don't want a credit account against me. Thanks though!

Retail copies of Monster Hunter are few and far between - so glad I got a digital copy from the MK8 promo to go with my digital 3DS copy from the hunt together promo daisy chain.

If the voucher code is still active and they have stock, if it's no to either then no it helps no one unless they happen to own a time machine.

Edit: looks like it's not available for delivery, reserve and collect doesn't take the voucher code as far as I can see.

if you think my other comment was passive agressive is your problem not mine.
There is no need for 'it was £x' comments as it doesn't help anyone, also the fact that nintendo games hold their value has been mentioned a million times in other deals threads so is 'news' to no one.
Just because the place you bought it from had it for £25 doesn't mean it was the regular going rate for it at release, most places where selling it for £30+.

Did you notice the wink smiley?
Do you know what sarcasm is?
I never voted either of those cold, they were in response to all the bs 'cold, it was £x ydays, weeks, months ago' or similar comments that get posted on here .
But then I don't suppose that matters to you as long as you get to post comments like 'fowler is a troll' etc type comments.
