Great film but will the HD version really be that much improved from DVD?

Especially as was filmed on quite a budget.:whistling:

Just what I was thinking

Even if filmed on a budget - movie film resolution is way higher than current home "HD" standards and have been so for decades.

Older movies filmed on 35mm stock are actually higher res than many newer ones filmed digitally. Just look at Casblanca on Blu-ray

Can only hope that this will be the theatrical version, or atleast both versions on one disc. The Director's Cut was a disaster and ruined the film. here's hoping...

edit - oh c**p, just followed the link to see it states it is the director's cut. £11.85 better off now me thinks...

True.

I won't bother as I got it free in the paper and I don't believe watching on blu-ray will make the film any better.

I didn't vote by the way.

Good for fans who want on blu-ray.
