Recieved mine within a week. Great find tho for £1.17.

I got it for a pound in...poundland :whistling:
#5
Got mine free with a paper ages ago.

picked one up last week. i went into town expecting to pay at least £4 but no, woolies did me proud.

and no, it isn't the directors cut. TBH i wouldn't want it to be DC. that versions way convoluted and removes alot of the mystery from the storyline

Yep in other words the directors cut ruins the story and is a bore

Truly great movie. One of my all-time favourites.
But, I understand this movie is 'marmite' - you either love it, or hate it.
Me, I loved it.

Each time you watch it, you see something new.

the worst movie I ve ever seen.. Purely waste of time.Do not buy it.Dont watch it.;-)
#14
I did'nt really understand the film
was it about a plane crash on a golf course or something?
and a funny looking rabbit thing
#15
it's about a tangent universe. but mostly about god
#16
great film, voted hot.

After i saw it i had to go look on IMDB message boards to get an explanation of the ending. But still good

After filling in about 2 pages of the questionnaire I found if you just keep hitting next and not filling anything in it goes through right to the end !! Voted Hot Cheers OP

yes i advise people to watch the theatre release 1st but the directors cut is well worth watching as it explains alot of what most people dont understand, and the 80's music in movie is ace.

It's a good deal for the 5 or so people in the country that don't already own it :giggle:

No media sale in the country is complete without Donni Darko for less than £3! It amazes me how quickly this film hit the bargain basement when it's actually very good.
#20
ok...jarhhead..that was good...especially when they brought in the curt cobhain track
'something in the way.'.
but broke back mountin?...I'm still not sure
any one have any input to the scarry rabit?:?

This did occur to me because it made it clear i wasn't oblige to answer all the questions. however, i didn't believe it would be 10 pages long so the morale in me made me feel obligated. :x

likewise - fantastic film. the directors cut isn't as good as the original IMHO but this is the original release so great find.

listen to the directors commentary will explain it or just google it.

The longer film makes Donnie's intentions clearer, explains the time-travel theme better and also leaves us in no doubt as to Frank's identity.

by the way frank = the rabbit, thats not a spoiler by the way.

i much prefer the directors cut by the way.

just watched again today mainly for the music score, and to think that little sweet girl from ET drew barrymore was executive director, great movie.

someone pressed the wrong button in the pressing plant and ran of a few too many million copies i reckon

Donnie Darko is good. :)
#31
does it come with DD5.1 and DTS or just DD2.0 ? as alot of these cheap copys and copys that papers give away come with just prologic.
#32
Great film but you get a better understanding of it the second time around.
