  Wahey, now i can redownload the game I paid for! Thanks Microsoft! Actually, while you're at it, can you bring Marble Blast Ultra back too! I paid a tenner for a game you no longer let me play because you can't be assed hosting a 50mb game on your servers anymore! What am I paying you guys £40 a year for again?

  I think i've seen an answer to this problem if you have a live account...
  
  log in to the xbox.com website and click on "my account", then lower down the page under "marketplace history" click the link "purchase history". This should have a list of everything you've downloaded since you joined live.
  All you have to do is click "add to queue" next to the item, in your case Marble Blast Ultra, and it should download next time you log into live via the xbox.
  
  If it works you get your game back... if it doesn't its only a few wasted seconds. let us know how you get on

  Also, renew though Amazon or the high street for ~£30 rather than allowing your account to auto-renew.
