Again, my eyebrows raised at the RRP claimed by Amazon of £250........ but it's correct.......

£250 here -

Who the hell would pay the original £250 for that :w00t: even £42.79 is out of my price range :?

that copper roaster - worth noting that it's 'not dishwasher safe' - and imagining what cleaning it will be like each time you use it...

i like the le creuset trivita set i got in a hotdeals offer a while back - and the fact it can go in the dishwasher

What is the point in buying this coppery thing when....

a lot of chefs (classical fench) wouldnt dream of using anything other than copper pans

Copper is great to look at, fantastic for heat spread, but even in commercial kitchens copper has long ago died a death as it is a bit high maintenance - although at least these won't be needing re-tinning like the original copper stuff. Dents and damage is easy, unless they have found some sort of copper alloy that makes them a bit harder! Yes they will last a lifetime, but probably won't look like they started even after a couple of uses ;-(

Ideal for OCD sufferers with a passsion for Brasso, but for most people, even Stainless steel is hard enough work to keep the look! ;-)

The Le Creuset Trivita range was used by Gordon Ramsey and teams in the F word 8-)

Certainly sticking stuff in the dishwasher is loads easier than polishing by hand :w00t:

Yeah and its Ok for Marco - he gets some poor muggins on minimum wage to clean his pans :-D

So still a good price at Amazon

Still hot if you've got enough hot water and polish to clean it :whistling:

The Screwpull ice bucket is a fab deal ... if you search online, you'll find the same thing at 68 quid on other sites. I got the matching wine chiller last week at the same price, and the pair will make a nice gift. :)

A good place to look for Le Creuset deals is outlet shopping places, I have got a couple of real bargains. This stuff good for those who don't have outlets nearby, but I suspect it's not the most popular range.

Funny, the Screwpull ice bucket says £59.99 when I use the link
