Useful for student bedsit.

I'm confused, you'd rather it was less powerful, so it takes longer to cook on, or are you saying you want it to be more powerful so that you can cook quicker which might in theory makes it slightly more efficient.

No I think as an alternative to a normal cooker hob this would cost more to run.

I bought one of these on Monday and I can assure you that it is more than powerful enough as the first few things I cooked were burnt to hell, I'd say this is twice as powerful as the older version.

This is an upgrade to the old model they used to sell. Hopefully they have sorted out the build quality issues, as with the old model, one of the rings always seemed to stop working after a few months. I got the 3 years replacement cover on it for £3.99 as a back up.

Definitely a hot deal.
