Cheers Andy,

Yeah I used to eat the nougat first but then sound it to be too much of a workout trying to eat with all that nougat in my mouth at once.

Saw these the other day - great deal - the chocolate bar of kings!

Thinking about chocolate bars - whatever happened to spiras? or coconut boosts? or tab clear for that matter?
#10
Spiras... they really did disappear off the face of the earth.

My next door neighbour owned a newsagents when we were kids and before they even came out he bought home a box of spiras for the kids in the street to beta test. We gave them the thumbs up! :-)

I remember tab clear was at the introductory price of 10p a can for months. I was in primary school and every kid and his dog was drinking it. Then it went up to full price and nobody bought it anymore. It was around the time of coca cola soccaballs and spinner yo-yo's

Good find, have some heat.
Did you know they add a touch of coffee to them to give the distinctive flavour?
Personally I loved the original version that had raisins in the crisped rice bottom half.

I am glad someone else rememebers the raisins, as I get blank faces when I talk about it.. The originals were MUCH better than the modern ones!!

there is one choccy bar i remember but cannot name. please put me oot of mae misery.

the centre was a fluffy light chocolate filling but the outer was something else and comprised of a lattice of thin dark chocolate threads wrapped round and round.
