These are sometimes down to £2 per socket at my local branch. I bought loads the last time even though I've no use for them.:(
Still hot though.

Surely it's better to have something like this made of an electrically insulating material (like plastic). As soon as any wire comes loose or any other electrical fault the whole surface would be conducting.

Please get a qualified electrician to fit these for you

Fitted some of these last week and they look a lot better than the crappy white ones with paint all over them that they replaced.
#22
Good price. Heat added.

Frightening isn't it!
I work in an electrical wholesalers - there is at least 1 person (not electricians) who comes in every day and explains in depth their story of how they plan to electricute themselves! They don't need an expensive electrician!
The best ones are the old geezers who come in who have been 'doing it' for years for friends etc with no certification or probably even training! What great friends people are who wire your house like a death trap.
These are cheap no doubt (and I voted HOT) , but it's Crabtree/Hamilton all the way for me - hold one of these cheapo's next to it and you will see why immediately.

Don't buy them just because they're cheap.
I did that a few years ago and they're now all rusty in the garage :-)
