Poundland in Bolton are doing Douwe Egberts Senseo Coffee Pod packs "buy one get one free" on the following packs:-
Mild Roast 18 Pods
Sumatra Blend 16 Pods
Vienna Blend 10 Pods.
They are "Use By" March or April 2008

A very good deal when compared to Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda which have single pack prices of £1.99 to £2.69.

great deal, old packaging i think.
anyone know where to get dolce gusto capsules on the cheap? costing me £12 a week in coffee!

EDIT might be cheaper to buy a senseo but it's not as nice

Another place to get cheap Senseo is on the continent. In the Netherlands (where 60% of all households have a Senseo), you can pick up the standard 18 packs for around €1.70. Alternatively, many supermarkets do home brands which are just as good for just over a euro per pack.

Awww now I'm sulking:(

I loved, no make that adored my Senseo machine until the handle snapped off after just after a year's use. Philips said I have to take it to a service dept. to get it sorted so to be honest, it'll go in the bin.

Typically, I'm in Bolton!! I'd have snapped up those pods:)

Lidl had some own brand pods I used. I also used eco pods, ones that are basically plastic shells that you fill with your own grinds. You save a bomb that way. It's not as tasty as the real deal but still...
