Quality ground coffee. Intense with hints of almond. A sensational cup of freshly brewed coffee. Every now and then you need a bit of "me time". SENSEO® lets you enjoy a roast and ground coffee in the same time it takes to made an instant. We've done the hard part for you. Using 250 years of experience Douwe Egberts' coffee experts have carefully selected and roasted coffee beans to deliver the best taste with a delicate crema on top. All you need to do is decide whether you want one or two cups or a mug (life's full of hard choices), pop your pod in the right pod holder, close the lid and press the button for your freshly brewed coffee. Douwe Egberts SENSEO® has a range of different flavours, so take a moment to decide which one is right for you.

Just got back from shopping picked some of these up already and just saw the deal :) voted hot they also have the original same price. Shame supermarkets only do two flavours the Tassimo has quite a few flavours

my lass got me some uber dark pods from the netherlands off scumbay

cost her a few quid but they're much nicer than these - wish asda would grow some balls and get a wider range

Try Lidl - they do a coffee pod range that fits the senseo - either kenyan, brazilian or columbian, is much stronger and taste nicer than the original stuff - £1.49 for 18

I have noticed that these have gone down across the board recently, down about 20p to £2.11. Mysupermarket are showing the medium roast @ £1.98 in Asda too http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=senseo
Thanks cho, Im going to try the Lidl ones

I have just bought a CoffeeDuck (see Ebay) for her Senseo so she can use her own coffee in it and choose her own strength. It seems to work fine. Haven't tried too many types of coffee yet but so far so good. It is obviously not as convenient as the pods but it is quite easy to use and doesn't make the mess that her cafetiere did.
